Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu
Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu (; born 5 February 1968) is a Turkish diplomat and politician who has served as Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey since 24 November 2015. He previously served in the same position from August 2014 to August 2015. He is a member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, where he represents Antalya Province. First elected to Parliament in the 2002 general election, he is a founding member of the Turkish Justice and Development Party (AKP). He was the president of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe from 2010 to 2012. Early life and education Çavuşoğlu was born at Alanya, Antalya Province, Turkey. Tevfik Rüştü Aras
Tevfik Rüştü Aras (1883, Çanakkale – 5 January 1972, Istanbul) was a Turkish politician, serving as deputy and foreign minister of Turkey during the Atatürk era (1923–1938). He played a prominent role in the Armenian genocide. Early years He graduated from the medical school of Beirut. He served as a doctor in Izmir, Istanbul, and Thessaloniki ( tr, Selanik ). He became a member of the Committee of Union and Progress, and during his membership he met Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Republic of Turkey. In 1918, he was a member of the high commission of health ( tr, Yüksek Sağlık Kurulu). At that time he married the journalist Evliyazade Makbule, who was the daughter of a wealthy family from Izmır. Fatin Rüştü Zorlu
Fatin Rüştü Zorlu (20 April 1910 – 16 September 1961) was a Turkish diplomat and politician. He was executed by hanging after the coup d'état in 1960 along with two other politicians. Early life and education He was born on 20 April 1910 in Istanbul to a family originating from the village of Zor, Artvin in northeastern Turkey. After finishing high school at Galatasaray High School, Zorlu was educated in political science at the Institut d'études politiques de Paris, France and in law at the University of Geneva, Switzerland. Political career Returning to Turkey, Zorlu began his career as a diplomat in 1932 in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Adnan Menderes
Adnan Menderes (; 1899 – 17 September 1961) was a Turkish politician who served as Prime Minister of Turkey between 1950 and 1960. He was one of the founders of the Democrat Party (DP) in 1946, the fourth legal opposition party of Turkey. He was tried and hanged under the military junta after the 1960 coup d'état, along with two other cabinet members, Fatin Rüştü Zorlu and Hasan Polatkan. One of the accusations brought against him was of him ordering the Istanbul pogrom against citizens of Greek ethnicity. He was the last Turkish political leader to be executed after a military coup and is also one of the four political leaders of the Turkish Republic (along with Kemal Atatürk, Süleyman Demirel and Turgut Özal) to have had a mausoleum built in his honour. Adnan ( ar, عدنان, 'adnān) is the traditional ancestor of the Adnanite Arabs of Northern, Western, Eastern and Central Arabia, as opposed to the Qahtanite Arabs of Southern Arabia who descend from Qahtan. His ancestry can be traced back to Abraham and from there to Adam and Noah. Sadık Necmettin Sadak (1890 in Isparta, Ottoman Empire – 21 September 1953 in New York City) was a Turkish politician, former minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey and former chairman of the Turkish sports club Galatasaray. Hasan Saka (1885 – 29 July 1960) was a Turkish politician, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Prime Minister of Turkey. Political career He graduated from "Mülkiye Mektebi" (School of Civil Service) in 1908. Hasan Saka started working for government in "Divan-ı Muhasebat" (Council of Accounts). He was sent to France for further education by the Ottoman government in 1909. After graduating from the School of Political Science with a Diplomacy major, he returned home to continue his prior job. He was elected as a member of the Ottoman Parliament in Istanbul at its last term and kept his position until the parliament was closed.
