Tottempudi Krishna
Tottempudi Krishna (1 September 1950 – 21 October 1986) was an Indian film director and screenwriter who worked in Telugu cinema. Known for directing revolutionary films, his notable works include ''Pratighatana'', ''Repati Pourulu'', and ''Neti Bharatham'', which have won the Filmfare Best Films Telugu. He won four Nandi Awards and was the founder of Eetaram Films. His last film ''Repati Pourulu'' was released in 1986, after his death. His son Gopichand is a Telugu film actor. Early life T. Krishna was born on 1 September 1950 in Kakuturivaripalem of present-day Prakasam district ((then in Guntur district), Andhra Pradesh to Rathamma and Venkata Subbaiah. Krishna completed his B.A. from CSR Sharma College in Ongole. Andhra Pradesh (, abbr. AP) is a state in the south-eastern coastal region of India. Rajendra Prasad (actor)
Gadde Rajendra Prasad (born 19 July 1956) is an Indian actor who predominantly works in Telugu films. He is a recipient of four Andhra Pradesh state Nandi Awards, three SIIMA Awards, and three Santosham Film Awards. Prasad made his debut in 1977 with '' Sneham'' and gained recognition with ''Manchu Pallaki'' (1982). He then went on to be starred in several successful comedy films such as ''Rendu Rellu Aaru'' (1986), ''Ladies Tailor'' (1986), ''Aha Naa-Pellanta!'' (1987), ''Appula Appa Rao'' (1991), and '' Mayalodu'' (1993). He received Nandi Award for Best Actor for ''Erra Mandaram'' (1991) and '' Aa Naluguru'' (2004). He has also received an Honorary doctorate from Andhra University. In 2012, he starred in the medical thriller ''Dream'', for which he won the Royal Reel Award at the Canada International Film Festival. ''Vande Mataram'' () is a 1985 Indian Telugu-language film written and directed by T. Krishna, and produced Krishna Chitra. It stars Vijayashanti and Rajasekhar, with music composed by Chakravarthy. The film is the debut of actor Rajasekhar into the Telugu film industry. The popular song ''Vandemataram'' in the film, written by C. Narayana Reddy was first written much earlier, published in a magazine, made popular by singers of ''Praja Natya Mandali''.
