Torbjörn Arvidsson (born May 6, 1968) is a former Swedish football player, who played as a defender for Halmstads BK. He is currently the assistant manager of Hajduk Split. Career Starting his career in Kalmar FF he early moved to Halmstads BK in 1989, where he played until 2005. During this time he became the player with most games in Allsvenskan for Halmstad so far, 306 games and 543 games in total, he won Allsvenskan twice and Svenska Cupen once and 1998-1999 he was the team captain and also playing several time in European cups. He made his debut for the club in 1989 in the serie debut against Örebro SK and his last match became in the cup against Ystads IF FF in 2005. Thorbjørn Egner (12 December 1912 – 24 December 1990) was a Norwegian playwright, songwriter and illustrator known principally for his books, plays and musicals for children. He is principally associated with his narratives for children including '' Karius og Baktus'' (1949) and ''Folk og røvere i Kardemomme by '' (1955). Biography He grew up in the working-class neighbourhood Kampen in Oslo, Norway. His parents were Magnus Egner (1872–1952) and Anna Hansen (1874–1957). He was trained as an artist at the Norwegian National Academy of Craft and Art Industry under Eivind Nielsen and Per Krohg 1933–34. He started his career in advertising. Over a seven year period, he was employed as a designer and decorator at the advertising firm Høydahl Ohme A/S. Knut Torbjørn Eggen
Knut Torbjørn Eggen (1 November 1960 – 20 February 2012) was a Norwegian football coach and player, famous for his time in Rosenborg as a player, and Moss and Fredrikstad as a coach. He was the son of Norway's most successful football coach, Nils Arne Eggen. Playing career Eggen was born on 1 November 1960 in Orkdal, to football player Nils Arne Eggen and Karin Pauline Eggen (1940–2011), as the first of three children. He began his youth career in the local club Orkdal IL, before moving on to Rosenborg in 1978, where his father was the head coach. He won the league three times and the Norwegian Cup two times with Rosenborg, where he spent his entire professional career until he retired in 1991, aged 31. Þorbjörn dÃsarskáld is a late-10th century Icelandic skald (poet). Only one and a half stanzas of his poetry have been preserved in ''Skáldskaparmál'' (The Language of Poetry). Name ''DÃsarskáld'' means "poet of the dÃsir", which implies that he composed verses of the female deities (dÃsir). It has also been interpreted as an allusion to a now lost poem about Freyja, whom Snorri Sturluson in ''Skáldskaparmál'' calls ''VanadÃs'' ("lady of the Vanir" or "dÃs of the Vanir") or one of the dÃsir. His name is sometimes anglicized as Thorbjörn dÃsarskáld or Thorbiorn disarskald. Torbjörn Oskar Caspersson (15 October 1910 – 7 December 1997) was a Swedish cytologist and geneticist. He was born in Motala and attended the University of Stockholm, where he studied medicine and biophysics. Torbjørn Olavssøn Bratt ( c.1502–1548) was a Norwegian clergyman. He was the first bishop of Trondheim, after the introduction of the Protestant Reformation in Norway. He served as Bishop of the Diocese of Trondhjem from 1546 until 1548. Bratt was born in the fishing village of Andenes on the island of Andøya in Nordland, Norway. He was born into one of the families that constituted the remains of old Norwegian aristocracy and was elder brother of Jens Olavssøn Bratt.
