Migrating Birds
Bird migration is the regular seasonal movement, often north and south along a flyway, between breeding and wintering grounds. Many species of bird migrate. Migration carries high costs in predation and mortality, including from hunting by humans, and is driven primarily by the availability of food. It occurs mainly in the northern hemisphere, where birds are funneled onto specific routes by natural barriers such as the Mediterranean Sea or the Caribbean Sea. Ambrose Cheung Wing-sum, BBS, JP (; born 10 January 1951) is a businessman, solicitor and is a former member of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong in 1998–2000 for the Urban Council constituency and incumbent Sham Shui Po District Council ( Mei Foo North constituency) from 1982 to 2019 and chairman of the Sham Shui Po District Council between 2016 and 2019. Biography Cheung was born in Hong Kong in 1951. After Cheung obtained his bachelor's degree of Social Sciences form the University of Hong Kong in 1973, he joined the Standard Chartered Bank and was sent to the London headquarters and European branches for a year. Regina Ip
Regina Ip Lau Suk-yee (; ' Lau; born 24 August 1950) is a Chinese politician. She is currently the Convenor of the Executive Council (ExCo) and a member of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong (LegCo), as well as the founder and current chairperson of the New People's Party. She was formerly a prominent government official of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) and was the first woman to be appointed the Secretary for Security to head the disciplinary service. The Hong Kong Federation of Trade Unions (HKFTU) is a pro-Beijing labour and political group established in 1948 in Hong Kong. Glory To Hong Kong
"Glory to Hong Kong" ( zh, t=願榮光歸香港) is a march that was composed and written by a musician under the pseudonym "Thomas dgx yhl", with the contribution of a group of Hongkonger netizens from the online forum LIHKG during the 2019–2020 Hong Kong protests. It was initially written in Cantonese and was eventually developed into various language versions starting with English. The song, hailed by protestors as an unofficial "national anthem of Hong Kong", is widely considered as promoting democracy in Hong Kong. Since widespread protests in Hong Kong erupted in early June 2019, various songs that symbolise democracy, such as " Do You Hear The People Sing" from ''Les Misérables'', have been sung by protesters on different occasions as their anthems.
