Tom Jennings
Thomas Daniel Jennings (born 1955) is a Los Angeles-based artist, known for his work on FidoNet and for his work at Phoenix Software on MS-DOS integration and interoperability. Work He is the creator of FidoNet, the first message and file networking system for BBSes. Originally, the FidoNet protocols were implemented in a program named Fido, authored by Jennings, but they were ultimately implemented by other authors in other software to create a network using a multiplicity of platforms. Aside from creating the most influential protocol for networking computer bulletin boards, Jennings built Wired magazine's first internet presence, wrote the portable BIOS that led to Phoenix Technologies BIOS, ran an early regional internet service provider, The Little Garden (later incorporated as TLGnet, Inc), Borsook, Paulina.The Anarchist, ''Wired.com''. Donna Dresch
Donna Dresch is an American punk rock musician, perhaps best known as founder, guitarist and bass guitarist of Team Dresch. Dresch has been actively involved in the queercore scene since the 1980s, as the creator of the fanzine ''Chainsaw'' and contributor to several other zines such as '' Outpunk'' and ''J.D.s'', as well as contributing and being featured on the front cover of issue five of Deke Nihilson and Tom Jennings' zine '' Homocore''. Additionally, she was a contributor to Tobi Vail's influential proto-Riot Grrrl fanzine, ''Jigsaw'' and Tammy Rae Carland's zine ''I (heart) Amy Carter''. In 1992, she appeared in the cult film ''The Yo-Yo Gang'', by G.B. Jones. She founded the queercore independent record label Chainsaw Records in the early 1990s. ''The Documentary'' is the debut studio album by American rapper the Game. It was released on January 18, 2005, by Aftermath Entertainment, G-Unit Records, The Black Wall Street Records and Interscope Records. The record serves as his major-label debut, preceded by his independently released debut '' Untold Story'' in 2004. In 2001, while the Game was in hospital recovering from a shooting, he decided to pursue a career in music. The punk subculture includes a diverse and widely known array of ideologies, fashion, and other forms of expression, visual art, dance, literature, and film. ''Queer'' is an umbrella term for people who are not heterosexual or cisgender.
