Thomas Merrett Howard (born December 26, 1969) is an American professional wrestler, and actor. He is best known for his Green Beret role in K-1 and Pro Wrestling ZERO1-MAX in Japan. The National Wrestling Conference (NWC, originally the National Wrestling Council) was a professional wrestling promotion that was founded in Las Vegas, Nevada, in 1994 by T.C. Martin. With a mix of former World Wrestling Federation stars and talent from the independent circuit: the promotion showcased a variety of wrestling styles ranging from lucha libre to hardcore and midget wrestling. Ivan “Judo” Gene LeBell (October 9, 1932 – August 9, 2022) was an American martial artist, stunt performer, actor, and professional wrestler. Nicknamed "The Godfather of Grappling", he popularized grappling in professional fighting circles, serving as a precursor to modern mixed martial arts. He worked on over 1,000 films and TV shows and authored 12 books. In 2000, the United States Ju-Jitsu Federation (USJJF) promoted LeBell to 9th dan in jujitsu and taihojutsu. The World Wrestling Peace Festival was a professional wrestling supercard event produced by Japanese professional wrestler Antonio Inoki, which took place on June 1, 1996 at the Los Angeles Sports Arena in Los Angeles, California.
