Tipu (actor)
Adnan Shah, well known as Adnan Shah Tipu or simply Tipu is a Pakistani actor known for his comic and villainary roles. Career Adnan Shah started his career in 1999 as a television actor and gained popularity through a sitcom titled "Sub Set Hai" created by Azfar Ali, which was aired on Indus Vision in 2001. He has appeared in many television serials in Pakistan such as '' Makan'' (2006). Tipu has also acted in 2011 sitcom series ''Kis Din Mera Viyah Howay Ga''. He made his debut as a film actor in 2003 film ''Khamosh Pani''. In 2008, he appeared in drama film ''Ramchand Pakistani'', followed by his Bollywood debut film '' Kajraare'' (2010), directed by Pooja Bhatt. Tipu starred in '' Josh: Independence Through Unity'' and grabbed the nomination in ARY Film Award for Best Actor. He played a villainary role in ''Dukhtar'' (2014) and also starred in the Indian film '' Welcome to Karachi'' (2015). ''Dukhtar'' (; ) is a 2014 Pakistani drama-thriller film directed by Afia Nathaniel. The film stars Samiya Mumtaz, Mohib Mirza, Saleha Aref, Asif Khan, Ajab Gul and Samina Ahmad. The film is Afia Nathaniel's feature directorial debut; she also wrote and produced the film. It is the story of a mother and her ten-year-old daughter, who leave their home to save the girl from an arranged marriage to a tribal leader. ''Welcome 2 Karachi'' is a 2015 Indian Hindi-language black comedy film directed by Ashish R Mohan and produced by Vashu Bhagnani. The film stars Arshad Warsi and Jackky Bhagnani as pivotal leads. 1st Indus Drama Awards
The 1st Indus Drama Awards ceremony, presented by Indus TV Network, sponsored by Dulux, took place on 23 September 2005, at PAF Museum, Karachi. The ceremony was recorded, and was scheduled to be televised in Pakistan and UAE on October 1, 2005, by Indus TV. It was produced by chairman Ghazanfar Ali. ''Maalik'' () is a 2016 Pakistani political-thriller film directed, written and produced by Ashir Azeem. It was released on 8 April 2016 in cinemas across Pakistan under the production banner of Media Hub. Ashir Azeem Gill () is a Pakistani-Canadian film and television director, actor, writer and former civil services officer who rose to fame through television series '' Dhuwan'' in 1994 and now hosts a political reform based web-series on his YouTube channel. Early life and career Ashir Azeem was born in Quetta in 1962 where he attended early schooling. He attended Pakistan Air Force College of Aeronautical Engineering from 1981 to 1984.
