Three Star Club is a Nepali professional football club based in Patan, Lalitpur, that competes in the Qatar Airways Martyr's Memorial A-Division League, the top flight of Nepalese football. The club was previously known as the ''Laxmi Bank Three Star Club'' and ''Ruslan Three Star Club'' for sponsorship reasons. Historically they have fierce rivalry with Manang Marshyangdi Club known as the Patan-Kathmandu derby. History Three Star Club is one of the well-established and successful clubs in Nepal. The club had a modest beginning in 2031 B.S. A group of enthusiastic young people of Patan Durbar Square, Mangal Bazar established the club for sports development, social service, personality development and brotherhood. The club has been organizing many activities since then, but it is more recognizable as one of the leading football teams in the country. The number of members is increasing rapidly. AFC Cup
The AFC Cup is an annual continental club football competition organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). Under its current rules, the competition is played primarily between clubs from nations that did not receive direct qualifying slots in the top-tier AFC Champions League, based on the AFC Club Competitions Ranking. Al-Kuwait SC and Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya are the most successful clubs in the competition's history, having won three titles each. Clubs from Kuwait have won four titles, making them the most successful nation in the competition. Ananta Tamang ( ne, अनन्त तामाङ; born 14 January 1998) is a Nepalese professional footballer who plays as a defender for Nepal Super League club FC Chitwan and the Nepal national team.
