Thorkel Møller
Thorkel Luplau Møller (28 July 1868 – 21 December 1946) was a Denmark, Danish architect who primarily worked in and around Aarhus at the turn of the 20th century. Stylistically he worked in the National Romantic style and later Baroque Revival architecture, Baroque Revival. Biography Thorkel Møller was born in Sorø, Denmark. He was the son of Hans Georg Møller and Julie Augusta Luplau. He moved to Copenhagen where he obtained a degree in architecture from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture in 1898. He conducted travel studies to Germany and Italy between 1897 and 1900. He was initially employed by architects Hack Kampmann and Martin Nyrop but in 1900 he was hired by ''Jydske Landboforeninger'' in Jutland. In 1902 he exhibited at Charlottenborg Spring Exhibition. Hotel Royal, Aarhus
Hotel Royal is a historic hotel in the heart of Aarhus, Denmark, in the central Indre By neighborhood. It overlooks Aarhus Cathedral and the large Store Torv square. The hotel is among the highest ranked hotels in Denmark with a history as the most prestigious in the city. The hotel, which today has 64 rooms, was founded in 1838 by the innkeeper Niels Larsen from Odense. The new hotel was constructed from two existing buildings overlooking Aarhus' central square. It quickly established a reputation for luxury with clients including royalty, politicians, writers, film stars and singers. Store Torv ( lit. Great Square) is a public square located in the Indre By neighborhood in Aarhus, Denmark. It is situated between Lille Torv and Aarhus Cathedral, shaped as an elongated triangle. It is the largest public square in Aarhus and one of the oldest venues for markets in the city. The square is home to many notable buildings including the dominating cathedral and is frequently host to cultural events. Emanuel Sejr
Emanuel Sejr (; 29 September 1891 – 17 January 1980) was a Danish librarian, author and local historian who was the head librarian of the Danish State and University Library. Sejr was hired by the State and University Library in 1913 and became the head librarian in 1936 to 1957. In the 1920s he played a key role in the negotiations to have the library serve double functions as both a state library and the university library for Aarhus University. Åboulevarden 69 or Ny Jydske Kjøbstad Creditforening is a building in the city of Aarhus, Denmark, located in the Indre By neighborhood in the Midtbyen district on the street Åboulevarden. The building was constructed in 1910 for the credit union ''Ny Jydske Kjøbstad Creditforening'' (New Jut Market Town Credit Union), a name which still adorns the facade of the building. Skolegade ( Lit.: School Street) is a street in Aarhus, Denmark which runs north to south from Mejlgade to ''Mindebrogade''. The street is situated in the Midtbyen neighborhood.
