''The Warriors Gate'' (, also released as ''Enter the Warriors Gate'') is a 2016 Chinese-French action-adventure- fantasy film directed by Matthias Hoene and written by Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen. It was released in China on November 18, 2016, in 2D, 3D and China Film Giant Screen 3D, and on video on demand in the United States on May 5. Plot Jack Bronson (Uriah Shelton) is a teenager who spends his free time playing warrior video games and working at a Chinese curios and antiques shop. His mother is trying to sell the house they live in before it goes into foreclosure. When Jack goes to a biking park, Travis (Dakota Daulby), a neighborhood bully and his friends chase after him and he hides inside his bosses shop and helps out. Matthias Hoene
Matthias Hoene is a German filmmaker who mostly works in English. He began with animated music videos, then award-winning commercials and short films, before directing longer science fiction and fantasy features. His film ''Cockneys vs Zombies'' won multiple awards, while ''The Warriors Gate'' was an international fantasy action epic. Early life Matthias Hoene was born in Singapore in 1976. He grew up in Berlin, where his father was a scientist specializing in high-energy transmission tubes for lasers, and his mother was an alternative medicine enthusiast. 3D Film

Jinhua
, alternately romanized as Kinhwa, is a prefecture-level city in central Zhejiang province in eastern China. Hengdian World Studios () is a film studio located in Hengdian, a Chinese town in the city of Dongyang, Zhejiang Province. It is one of the largest film studios in the world. The movie studio is operated by the privately owned Hengdian Group founded by Xu Wenrong. Xu turned acres of farmland in central Zhejiang into one of the largest movie studios in Asia.
