''The Unburied Man'' ( hu, A temetetlen halott) is a 2004 Hungarian-Slovakian-Polish drama film. Márta Mészáros
Márta Mészáros (born 19 September 1931) is a Hungarian screenwriter and film director. The daughter of László Mészáros, a sculptor, Mészáros began her career working in documentary film, having made 25 documentary shorts over the span of ten years. Her full-length directorial debut, ''Eltavozott nap''/''The Girl'' (1968), was the first Hungarian film to have been directed by a woman, and won the Special Prize of the Jury at the Valladolid International Film Festival. Mészáros' work often combines autobiographical details with documentary footage. Prominent themes include characters' denials of their pasts, the consequences of dishonesty, and the problematics of gender. Her films often feature heroines from fragmented families, such as young girls seeking their missing parents (''The Girl'') or middle-aged women looking to adopt children ('' Adoption''). János Kulka (actor)
János Kulka (born 11 November 1958) is a Hungarian actor. He appeared in more than fifty films since 1980, and is a leading stage actor of his generation in Hungary. He received the Kossuth and Jászai Mari Prize; he is an eternal member of the Society of Immortals. Early life Kulka was born in Budapest, but spent most of his childhood in Szeged, where his father, Frigyes Kulka was an internationally acclaimed surgeon. His father came from Ipolyság (currently Šahy in Slovakia), and was a Holocaust survivor, who lost his family during the war. His mother, Eszter Boleman was recruited as an anchorwoman for the first experimental television broadcasts in Hungary, but the revolution in 1956 interrupted her career. Ferenc Münnich
Ferenc Münnich (; 18 November 1886 – 29 November 1967) was a Hungarian Communist politician who served as Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the People's Republic of Hungary from 1958 to 1961. He served in the Austro-Hungarian Army in World War I, and fought in the Eastern front. He was captured in 1915, then deported to a lager in Tomsk, Siberia. Pál Mácsai (born 1961) is a Hungarian actor, director, managing director. A member of Pinceszínház (Cellar Theatre) during his secondary school years in Budapest, he earned diplomas from the acting and directing departments of the Academy of Theatre and Film (1984 and 1990, respectively). While a third-year student, he debuted as Romeo at the National Theatre, and he was a company member there for five years after earning his diploma in 1984. Beginning in 1998, he enrolled in the aesthetics program at ELTE (Eötvös Loránd University), but discontinued his studies there in 2001, after submitting and winning a tender for the artistic management of the Madách Kamara (Madách Chamber Theatre, capacity: 386). After three seasons, he founded the Örkény István Theatre, which operates in the same building, with an independent company. Jan Frycz (born 15 May 1954) is a Polish screen and stage actor. He was nominated for six Polish Academy Awards, winning twice for his supporting roles in the films '' Pornografia'' (2003) and '' The Welts'' (2004). Biography Frycz's father was a mining engineer and disliked his interest in acting; he argued that a boy should have a more stable job.
