''The Sleepwalker'' is a cartoon starring Mickey's dog Pluto (Disney), Pluto. It was produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios, Walt Disney Productions and released by RKO Pictures, RKO Radio Pictures in 1942 in film, 1942. In the short, Pluto is enamored of Dinah the Dachsund, who also appears in ''Canine Casanova'' (1945), ''In Dutch'' (1946), ''Pluto's Heart Throb'' (1950) and ''Wonder Dog (Disney short), Wonder Dog'' (1950). Plot Pluto (Disney), Pluto is seen, happily sleeping while licking his bone. Mickey Mouse universe#Dinah the Dachshund, Dinah the Dachshund (in her first cartoon appearance), watching from a hole in a fence also wants the bone too, so she closes up and carefully pulls Pluto's bowl which contains the bone away from him and to herself. Pluto's tongue detects that the bone is gone before he wakes up and is shocked to see that Dinah is licking his bone. Clyde Geronimi
Clito "Clyde" Geronimi (June 12, 1901 – April 24, 1989), known as Gerry, was an American animation director. He is best known for his work at Walt Disney Productions. Biography Geronimi was born in Chiavenna, Italy, immigrating to the United States as a young child. Geronimi's earliest work in the animation field was for the J.R. Bray Studios, where he worked with Walter Lantz. Upon the dissolution of the Bray Studio in 1928, Geronimi followed Lantz to his own studio, Walter Lantz Productions, producing Cartoons for Universal Pictures. Geronimi left Lantz in 1931 to join Walt Disney Productions, where he remained until 1959. Geronimi started off in the shorts department as an animator, eventually becoming a director. His 1941 short, '' Lend a Paw'', won the Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film.
