The Shadows (Nepalese Band)
The Shadows Nepal is a hard rock band from Narayangarh, Chitwan, Nepal. They were established in 1997 and their first album was titled “Suna Hamro Sano Awaaz”. Their second album, “Hidne Manche Ladcha”, was a success in the Nepali market and earned them the best band, best music and best performance of the year 2006. The band is mostly popular for its influential lyrics that discusses social issues and awareness. They traveled to three cities of Australia as a part of their international tour in 2011. The band's current line up : Swapnil Sharma in Vocals, Prakash Rasaily on Guitars, Sujan Manandhar ( Guitars ), Sahil Risal ( drums ) and Amit Pradhan on Bass. Rupesh Sen worked with the band for pretty long time as a band manager. Blues rock is a fusion music genre that combines elements of blues and rock music. Hard Rock
Hard rock or heavy rock is a loosely defined subgenre of rock music typified by aggressive vocals and distorted electric guitars. Hard rock began in the mid-1960s with the garage, psychedelic and blues rock movements. Some of the earliest hard rock music was produced by the Kinks, the Who, The Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Cream, Vanilla Fudge, and the Jimi Hendrix Experience. Bharatpur (, ne, भरतपुर, ) is a city in southern central Nepal. It is the third most populous city of Nepal after Kathmandu and Pokhara with 369,377 inhabitants in 2021. Guitar
The guitar is a fretted musical instrument that typically has six strings. Bass Guitar
The bass guitar, electric bass or simply bass (), is the lowest-pitched member of the string family. Nepalese rock refers to rock music culture of Nepal and the Nepali-speaking regions in India like Sikkim and northern West Bengal, and some parts of Bhutan and Burma. History The history of rock music in Nepal dates back to the 1970s when there were a few acts influenced by Western bands such as The Beatles, the Rolling Stones, The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, and later Led Zeppelin, The Who, the Grateful Dead, Pink Floyd, Iron Maiden, Deep Purple and Bob Marley.
