"The Riddler" is a single by Method Man from the Batman Forever (soundtrack), ''Batman Forever'' soundtrack based on Riddler, the character of the same name. It was released on October 24, 1995 for Atlantic Records and produced by fellow Wu-Tang Clan member, RZA. The single found decent success, making it to four different Billboard charts, including #56 on the magazine's main chart, the Billboard Hot 100, ''Billboard'' Hot 100. A promotional music video directed by Diane Martel was released with Method Man performing the song intercut with scenes from the film featuring The Riddler. Method Man
Clifford Smith, Jr. (born March 2, 1971), better known by his stage name Method Man, is an American rapper, songwriter, record producer, and actor. He is known as a member of the East Coast hip hop collective Wu-Tang Clan. He is also half of the hip hop duo Method Man & Redman. He took his stage name from the 1979 film '' Method Man''. In 1996, Smith won a Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group, for " I'll Be There for You/You're All I Need to Get By", featuring American R&B singer Mary J. The ''Billboard'' Hot 100 is the music industry standard record chart in the United States for songs, published weekly by '' Billboard'' magazine. Chart rankings are based on sales (physical and digital), radio play, and online streaming in the United States. The weekly tracking period for sales was initially Monday to Sunday when Nielsen started tracking sales in 1991, but was changed to Friday to Thursday in July 2015. This tracking period also applies to compiling online streaming data. Radio airplay, which, unlike sales figures and streaming, is readily available on a real-time basis, is also tracked on a Friday to Thursday cycle effective with the chart dated July 17, 2021 (previously Monday to Sunday and before July 2015, Wednesday to Tuesday). ''Batman Forever: Music from the Motion Picture'' is the 1995 soundtrack to the motion picture '' Batman Forever''. Background Only five of the songs are actually featured in the movie. Hit singles from the soundtrack include "Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me" by U2 and " Kiss from a Rose" by Seal, both of which were nominated for MTV Movie Awards. Wu-Tang Clan
Wu-Tang Clan is an American hip hop group formed in Staten Island, New York City, in 1992. Riddler
The Riddler (Edward Nigma, later Edward Nygma or Edward Nashton) is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. The character was created by Bill Finger and Dick Sprang, and debuted in ''Detective Comics'' #140 in October 1948. He has become one of the most enduring enemies of the superhero Batman and belongs to the collective of adversaries that make up his rogues gallery.
