''The Ending Is Just the Beginning Repeating'' is the sixth studio album by Australian punk rock band The Living End, released on 22 July 2011 via Dew Process. The album was produced by Nick DiDia. In 2011, it won the award for the ''Best Rock Album'' at the Australian ARIA Awards. Composition and recording In early 2010, Chris Cheney went to New York for three months to begin writing songs for the album. While in New York, he met up with The Hold Steady singer Craig Finn, whom he met through John Agnello who had produced the band's previous album, ''White Noise''. With Finn, he cowrote the song "The Ending Is Just the Beginning Repeating". Cheney said that for the new album he "wanted to meet different people and gather some fresh resources and influences to hopefully take my writing and add a different element". The Living End
The Living End are an Australian punk rockabilly band from Melbourne, formed in 1994. Since 2002, the line-up consists of Chris Cheney (vocals, guitar), Scott Owen (double bass, vocals), and Andy Strachan (drums). The band rose to fame in 1997 after the release of their EP '' Second Solution / Prisoner of Society'', which peaked at No. 4 on the Australian ARIA Singles Chart. They have released eight studio albums, two of which reached the No. 1 spot on the ARIA Albums Chart: '' The Living End'' (October 1998) and ''State of Emergency'' (February 2006). Christopher John Cheney (born 2 January 1975) is an Australian rock musician, record producer, and studio owner. He is the founding mainstay guitarist, songwriter, and lead vocalist of the rockabilly band The Living End, which was formed in 1994 with schoolmate Scott Owen. Cheney wrote the group's top 20 hits on the ARIA Singles Chart: "Second Solution" / "Prisoner of Society" (1997), "All Torn Down" (1999), " Pictures in the Mirror" (2000), " Roll On" (2001), " One Said to the Other" (2003), "What's on Your Radio" (2005), " Wake Up" (2006), and "White Noise" (2008). Radar Radio (also referred to as Radar Music, colloquially called Radar) was an Australian Digital Radio station. It was run by Southern Cross Austereo from its launch date on 11 December 2008 to the closure of the station Monday 25 November 2013. The Radar Radio website was also taken down on the same day as the station closure. History Radar started broadcasting online before Digital Radio launched in Australia on 11 December 2008. The station only played unsigned bands and there were no announcers on air.
