The Eleventh Doctor is an incarnation of The Doctor (Doctor Who), the Doctor, the protagonist of the BBC Science fiction on television, science fiction television programme ''Doctor Who''. He is played by Matt Smith in three series as well as five specials. The Eleventh Hour (Doctor Who)
"The Eleventh Hour" is the first episode of the fifth series of the British science fiction television programme ''Doctor Who'', first broadcast on BBC One and BBC HD on 3 April 2010. The episode, written by new head writer and executive producer Steven Moffat and directed by Adam Smith, saw a complete change in cast and production crew. TARDIS
The TARDIS (; acronym for "Time And Relative Dimension In Space") is a fictional hybrid of the time machine and spacecraft that appears in the British science fiction television series ''Doctor Who'' and its various spin-offs. Its exterior appearance mimics a police box, an obsolete type of telephone kiosk that was once commonly seen on streets in Britain. Gallifrey () is a fictional planet in the long-running British science fiction television series ''Doctor Who''. Time Lord
The Time Lords are a fictional ancient race of extraterrestrial people in the British science fiction television series ''Doctor Who'', of which the series' main protagonist, the Doctor, is a member. Time Lords are so named for their command of time travel technology and their non-linear perception of time. Originally, they were described as a powerful and wise race from the planet Gallifrey, from which the Doctor was a renegade; details beyond this were very limited for the first decade of the series.
