The Backstreet Boys
Backstreet Boys (often abbreviated as BSB) are an American vocal group consisting of Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, AJ McLean, and cousins Brian Littrell and Kevin Richardson. Lou Pearlman formed the group in 1993 in Orlando, Florida. The group rose to fame with their international debut album, ''Backstreet Boys'' (1996). In the following year, they released their second international album ''Backstreet's Back'' (1997), along with their self-titled U.S. debut album, ''Backstreet Boys'' (1997), which continued the group's success worldwide. They rose to superstardom with their third studio album ''Millennium'' (1999) and its follow-up album, '' Black & Blue'' (2000). They also released a greatest hits album, '' The Hits - Chapter One'' (2001), with a new single, "Drowning." After a two-year hiatus, they regrouped and released a comeback album, '' Never Gone'' (2005). 2019 IHeartRadio Music Awards
The 2019 iHeartRadio Music Awards was held at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on March 14, 2019, and was broadcast live on Fox. Ariana Grande and Ella Mai were the most awarded artists, each winning three iHeartRadio Music Awards on the night. Cardi B lead the list of nominees with 14 nominations. Kevin Richardson (musician)
Kevin Scott Richardson (born October 3, 1971) is an American singer, best known as a member of the vocal group the Backstreet Boys. Richardson was inducted into the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame with his cousin and bandmate Brian Littrell in 2015. Early life Kevin Scott Richardson was born on October 3, 1971, in Lexington, Kentucky, the son of Ann (née Littrell) (1943-2022), homemaker, and Jerald Richardson Sr., an outdoorsman, military veteran, a construction worker, a fireman, a camp manager and handyman. ''This Is Us'' is the seventh studio album (sixth in the US) from American pop group Backstreet Boys. Serving as a follow-up to '' Unbreakable'' (2007), it was released on September 30, 2009 in Japan through Sony Music Japan, October 5, 2009 in the UK through RCA, and October 6 in the US. The Never Gone Tour is the sixth headlining concert tour by American boy band, the Backstreet Boys. The tour was launched in support of their fifth studio album, '' Never Gone'' (2005). "Drowning" is a song by American boy band Backstreet Boys, released on September 25, 2001, as the only single from their compilation album, '' The Hits – Chapter One''. Background The song was written by Andreas Carlsson, Rami and Linda Thompson, and produced by Rami and Kristian Lundin. The song was initially recorded for the '' Black & Blue'' album but was excluded due to the limited track listings left. Several elements of the song, such as the piano intro and the chorus, are very similar to "Långsamt farväl" released by the Swedish artist Mauro Scocco in 1997. Andreas Carlsson, co-writer of "Drowning", sang backing vocals on Lisa Nilsson's version of "Långsamt farväl" released in 2003. ''Backstreet's Back'' is the second studio album by American boy band Backstreet Boys, released internationally August 11, 1997 by Jive Records and Trans Continental Records, with the exception of United States. It was a follow-up to their successful debut album ''Backstreet Boys'' (1996). Some songs from this album and the debut album were compiled into a second self-titled album, ''Backstreet Boys'' (1997), which was released only in the US. There were a few differences between the versions of songs released on this album and the American album. The album also contained the same enhanced section as the American release.
