Tayaramma Bangarayya
''Tayaramma Bangarayya'' is a 1979 Indian Telugu-language film starring Sowcar Janaki as Tayaramma and Kaikala Satyanarayana as Bangarayya. Chandra Mohan, Ranganath, Madhavi, Sangeetha play supporting characters. Chiranjeevi makes a guest appearance in the film. The film was remade in Tamil as ''Sathya Sundharam'' (1981) with Sivaji Ganesan in the lead role and in Hindi as ''Shrimaan Shrimati'' (1982) with Sanjeev Kumar as the lead. Plot The film is about a good samaritan couple Tayaramma (Janaki) and Bangarayya (Satyanarayana). They try to repair the marriages of young couples. They successfully do this as a social responsibility. Kommineni Seshagiri Rao
Kommineni Seshagiri Rao was a Telugu film director. He was the brother of the music director Chakravarthy. He was born in Ponnekallu village, near Tadikonda in Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh, India. Film career Kommineni Seshagiri Rao was an ardent fan of cinema from an early age. He started as an actor in Telugu cinema playing villains. During the period, his dialogue delivery in an aptly modulated reverberating voice bought him wide recognition. He portrayed a hero in the picture " Goppavari Gotralu". ''Sathya Sundharam'' is a 1981 Indian Tamil-language film, directed by Kommineni Seshagiri Rao. The film stars Sivaji Ganesan, K. R. Vijaya, Jaiganesh and Suruli Rajan in lead roles. Allu Ramalingaiah (1 October 1922 – 31 July 2004) was an Indian character actor, comedian, and producer known for his works in Telugu cinema. In 1990, He was honoured with the Padma Shri for his contribution to Indian cinema. In 1998, he received the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award - South, and the Raghupathi Venkaiah Award in 2001. Punyamurthula Appalaraju (20 October 1937 – 07 February 1983), better known by his stage name Raja Babu, was an Indian actor and comedian known for his works predominantly in Telugu cinema. He is noted as one of the finest Telugu comedians. A 9 ft bronze statue of Rajababu was unveiled in his birthplace of Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh in 2012.
