Jerald Dee Tanner (June 1, 1938 – October 1, 2006) and Sandra McGee Tanner (born January 14, 1941) are American writers and researchers who publish archival and evidential materials about the history of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church). The Tanners founded the Utah Lighthouse Ministry (UTLM), whose stated mission is "to document problems with the claims of Mormonism and compare LDS doctrines with Christianity". As of 2022 Sandra Tanner continues to operate the ministry after Jerald's death in 2006. The Tanners, who are ex-Mormon, printed original versions of early Mormon writings and scripture in which they annotated and highlighted doctrinal changes, such as the rejection of Brigham Young's " Adam–God doctrine". They jointly published more than 40 books about many aspects of the LDS Church, primarily its history. Biographies Jerald Tanner was born in Provo, Utah, and was a fifth-generation Mormon. Tanners (company)
Tanners Wines Ltd (also known as ''Tanners Wine Merchants'' or simply ''Tanners'') is a family-owned independent wine merchants company based in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England. History Tanners was established by William Tanner, a sea captain, hence the company’s logo of a ship’s decanter. Records exist of his voyages as far afield as Chile and Australia. The family were also well known breeders of Shropshire sheep and Hereford cattle. It appears that Wiiliam Tanner was not the only Tanner in the alcohol trade in the mid- to late-1800s. For instance, the Winchester wine merchant partnership between F. A. Roberts and E. Tanner was dissolved in 1886. In 1884 and 1885, published listings for "John Tanner, wine and spirit merchant" as an authorized agent for Southmolton appeared. In 1888, "Messrs. H. and E. Tanner, wine merchants" obtained a license for a new warehouse in Shrewsbury to replace their existing one. Tanners comprises five other old businesses: Thomas Southam & ...

The bridge, built near the Tanners' Mosque, was once part of the ''Saint George Road'' that linked Tirana with the eastern highlands. History The Tanners' Bridge was part of the road that connected Tirana with Debar through Shëngjergj, also called ''Shëngjergj Road'' ( sq, Rruga e Shëngjergjit). Leatherhead F
Leatherhead is a town in the Mole Valley District of Surrey, England, about south of Central London. The settlement grew up beside a ford on the River Mole, from which its name is thought to derive. During the late Anglo-Saxons, Anglo-Saxon period, Leatherhead was a royal vill and is first mentioned in the will and testament, will of Alfred the Great in 880 AD. The first bridge across the Mole may have been constructed in around 1200 and this may have coincided with the expansion of the town and the enlargement of the parish church. For much of its history, Leatherhead was primarily an agricultural settlement, with a weekly marketplace, market being held until the mid-Elizabethan era. The construction of turnpike trust, turnpike roads in the mid-18th century and the arrival of the railways in the second half of the 19th century attracted newcomers and began to stimulate the local economy. Large-scale manufacturing industries arrived following the end of the First World War an ...
