Tanel Kangert
Tanel Kangert (born 11 March 1987) is an Estonian former road bicycle racer, who competed as a professional from 2008 to 2022. Early life Kangert was born in Vändra, Estonia. He attended kindergarten alongside fellow Estonian cyclist Rein Taaramäe. Career Kangert signed his first professional contract with in 2008, after riding with the team as a stagiaire in the 2007 season. In the same year, he finished first in the Estonian National Time Trial Championships. However during 2008 he also suffered from severe pain in both of his knees, requiring surgery to allow them to move more naturally. This forced him to race as an amateur during the 2010 season. In 2011, Kangert signed for the Kazakh team . In 2012, he won the final stage of the Tour de Suisse, beating Jérémy Roy in a sprint after the pair had attacked from a breakaway group earlier in the race. 2013 Tour Of The Basque Country
The 2013 Tour of the Basque Country was the 53rd running of the Tour of the Basque Country cycling stage race. It started on 1 April in Elgoibar and ended on 6 April in Beasain, and consisted of six stages, including a race-concluding individual time trial. It was the ninth race of the 2013 UCI World Tour season. The race was won by Colombia's Nairo Quintana of the , after gaining enough time on the final time trial stage to move ahead of the previous race leader Sergio Henao of . Quintana – the winner of the race's queen stage, the fourth stage, to Eibar– Arrate – had trailed by six seconds going into the stage, but overturned this disadvantage to eventually win the race by 23 seconds over Henao's teammate Richie Porte. The 2007 UCI Road World Championships took place in Stuttgart, Germany, between September 25 and September 30, 2007. The event consisted of a road race and a time trial for men, women and men under 23. Simon Philip Yates (born 7 August 1992) is a British road and track racing cyclist who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . His twin brother is Adam Yates, who is also a professional cyclist. He won the gold medal in the points race at the 2013 Track Cycling World Championships. Following a doping ban in 2016, he won the young rider classification in the 2017 Tour de France and the general classification in the 2018 Vuelta a España. Nicolas Roche (; born 3 July 1984) is an Irish former professional road bicycle racer who last rode for UCI WorldTeam . He has twice been national champion and has twice finished in the top ten of the Vuelta a España, and won stages in 2013 and 2015. He started a total of 24 Grand Tours, finishing 22, and he took a total of 65 top 10 finishes in Grand Tour stages, including 43 on the Vuelta.
