Silvija Talaja
Silvija Talaja (born 14 January 1978) is a Croatian former professional tennis player. Talaja won two singles titles and one doubles title on the WTA Tour, as well as one singles title on the ITF Women's Circuit, ITF Circuit. On 29 May 2000, she reached her best singles ranking of world No. 18. In her career, Talaja defeated former world No. 1 players Arantxa Sanchez-Vicario, Jennifer Capriati and other top-ten players such as Conchita Martinez, Marion Bartoli, Nadia Petrova, Nathalie Tauziat, Anna Kournikova, Chanda Rubin, Barbara Schett and Irina Spîrlea. A powerful, fast baseline player, her best Grand Slam results were third-round appearances at Roland Garros (twice) and Wimbledon (once). She also won a gold medal at the 1993 Mediterranean Games in doubles. After 15 seasons on the tour (five of which she finished in the top 100), in 2006, Talaja married her long-time partner and retired from professional tennis. Talaja is a town and a municipality in Bhavnagar district in the Indian state of Gujarat. Geography Talaja is located at . It has an average elevation of 19 metres (62 feet). Talaja is located on national Highway No. 8 in between Bhavnagar (50 km) and Mahuva (40 km). Talaja Caves
The Talaja Caves are located in Bhavnagar district of the Indian state of Gujarat at Talaja. The rock cuts are carved out into deserted conical rocks. The rock cut group include 30 caves among which about 15 are water tanks. The cave has unique architecture known as ''Ebhal Mandapa''. The halls are plain. Roope Talaja (born August 2, 1988) is a Finnish professional ice hockey forward. He currently plays for Porin Ässät in the Finnish Liiga. Talaja has played as a junior for the Blues, before making his professional debut in the Mestis with Kiekko-Vantaa.
