Taipei Medical University Hospital (TMUH; ) is a healthcare facility in Taipei, Taiwan established in 1976. Reproductive Center－In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) The Center for Reproductive Medicine at Taipei Medical University Hospital was established in 1991. It is headed by Professor Tzeng Chii-Ruey. With advanced reproductive technology, this center has helped more than 20,000 infertile couples conceive. In 1991, the first test-tube baby of the hospital was born. Xinyi District or Sinyi District is the seat of the Taipei City Government and Taipei City Council. An embryo is an initial stage of development of a multicellular organism. In organisms that reproduce sexually, embryonic development is the part of the life cycle that begins just after fertilization of the female egg cell by the male sperm cell. The resulting fusion of these two cells produces a single-celled zygote that undergoes many cell divisions that produce cells known as blastomeres. Pregnancy is the time during which one or more offspring develops ( gestates) inside a woman's uterus (womb). A multiple pregnancy involves more than one offspring, such as with twins.
