Taeyang
Dong Young-bae (; born May 18, 1988), better known by his stage names Taeyang (meaning "sun" in Korean) and SOL (when performing in Japan), is a South Korean singer, songwriter and dancer. After appearing in Jinusean's music video "A-yo", Taeyang began training under YG Entertainment at the age of 12. Six years later, he made his debut in 2006 as a member of the South Korean boy band Big Bang. While the quintet's debut was met with lukewarm receptions, their follow-ups cemented their popularity, becoming one of the best-selling digital group of all-time in Asia and one of the best-selling boy bands in the world. Following the release of several albums and extended plays with his group, Taeyang pursued a solo career in 2008, releasing his first extended play, '' Hot''. ''White Night'' (stylized in all caps) is the third studio album by South Korean singer Taeyang. It was released on August 16, 2017 and is his first album in three years since '' Rise'' (2014). Background and release In January 2017, YG Entertainment announced that Taeyang is working on his new album, alongside solo concerts. In July, Taeyang began filming the music videos in Los Angeles and Alaska in the United States, and a spoiler of the music video was posted online by Yang Hyun-suk on July 22. ''Rise'' (stylized as ''RISE'') is the second studio album by South Korean singer Taeyang, member of the K-pop group Big Bang. It is his first album in four years since ''Solar'' in 2010. ''Rise'' became the third highest charting K-pop album, and also the highest charting K-pop album by a Korean soloist on the Billboard 200 chart by debuting at #112, #1 on Billboard World Albums Chart, and #1 on Heatseekers Albums Chart. GD X Taeyang (also known as GDYB) is a South Korean duo from YG Entertainment, consisting of G-Dragon and Taeyang from Big Bang. After several years of appearing on each other's solo materials, the duo officially released the single "Good Boy" in 2014, which went on to top ''Billboard''s World Digital Songs chart and sold over a million digital units in South Korea. "Eyes, Nose, Lips" is a song recorded by South Korean singer Taeyang, serving as the second single for his second studio album '' Rise'' (2014). It was written by Teddy and Taeyang. Min Hyo-rin (; born Jung Eun-ran on 5 February 1986) is a South Korean actress, model and singer. Career Born in Daegu as Jung Eun-ran, she adopted the stage name Min Hyo-rin when she began modeling for the clothing brand Flapper in 2006. She then appeared in several music videos for Park Ki-young and F.T. Island. Before her singing debut, large teaser posters of her were displayed around the hot spots of Seoul as a promotional stunt. ''Big Bang Made'' is a 2016 South Korean documentary film featuring popular boy band Big Bang on their tour, the Made World Tour in 2015, which became the most attended tour headlined by a Korean act in history.
