Tyler Lanier Walker (born May 15, 1976) is an American former professional baseball relief pitcher. He is an alumnus of San Francisco University High School, where he was closely mentored by Duncan Lyon, and University of California, Berkeley. Walker pitched in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the New York Mets (2002), San Francisco Giants (2004–2006, 2007–2008), Tampa Bay Devil Rays (2006), Philadelphia Phillies (2009), and Washington Nationals (2010). Early life and college career Born in San Francisco, Walker grew up in nearby Ross and graduated from San Francisco University High School in 1994. After high school, Walker attended the University of California, Berkeley, where he was a pitcher for California Golden Bears baseball from 1996 to 1997 after redshirting the 1995 season. Tyler J. Andrew Walker (born 17 October 1996) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for club Lincoln City. He is the son of former England defender Des Walker. He will be a free agent on 30 June 2025. An England under-20 international, he made his first-team debut for hometown club Nottingham Forest in March 2015. He has played on loan at Burton Albion, Stevenage, Port Vale, Bolton Wanderers, Mansfield Town, and Lincoln City, and was named on the EFL League Two PFA Team of the Year for the 2018–19 season whilst with Mansfield. He was sold to Coventry City in August 2020 and joined Portsmouth on loan in January 2022. He joined Lincoln City on a free transfer in July 2023. He was loaned to Wealdstone in March 2025. Timothy Tyler Andrew Walker (born July 15, 1979) is an American professional stock car racing driver. Walker is one of many racers who have competed in many inter-disciplinary automotive ranks. His automotive career includes cycling competition, open-wheeled sprint cars, as well as being a stock car pilot, formerly competing in NASCAR. He is the first fourth-generation driver to compete in NASCAR since the late Adam Petty. Racing career Early career Walker began his racing career in two-wheeled vehicles. He started competing bicycles at the age of six and upgraded to motorcycles at the age of eight years.
