Tyler Batty
Tyler Batty (born May 2, 2000) is an American football defensive end for the BYU Cougars. Early life and high school Batty attended high school at Payson. Coming out of high school, Batty decided to commit to play college football for the BYU Cougars. College career In Batty's first three seasons in 2020, 2021, and 2022, he recorded 108 tackles with 17.5 being for a loss, nine and a half sacks, a fumble recovery, and a forced fumble. In week three of the 2023 season, Batty notched nine tackles with one and a half being for a loss, a sack and a half, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery as he helped BYU beat Arkansas 38-31. For his performance versus Arkansas, Batty was named the Big-12's defensive player of the week. Defensive end (DE) is a defensive position in the sport of gridiron football. This position has designated the players at each end of the defensive line, but changes in formations over the years have substantially changed how the position is played. 2023 Arkansas Razorbacks Football Team
The 2023 Arkansas Razorbacks football team represented the University of Arkansas in the Western Division of the Southeastern Conference (SEC) during the 2023 NCAA Division I FBS football season. Payson, Utah
Payson is a city in Utah County, Utah, United States. It is part of the Provo– Orem Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 21,101 at the 2020 census. History Pioneers from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints led by James Edward Pace Jr. first settled what is now Payson, Utah. On Sunday, October 20, 1850, Pace with his family and the families of John Courtland Searle and Andrew Jackson Stewart, totaling 16 settlers in all, arrived at their destination on Peteetneet Creek. The settlement was originally named Peteetneet Creek, after which Chief Peteetneet was named. BYU Cougars Football
The BYU Cougars football team is the college football program representing Brigham Young University (BYU) in Provo, Utah. The Cougars began collegiate football competition in 1922, and have won 23 conference championships and one national championship in 1984. The team has competed in several different athletic conferences during its history, but since July 1, 2011, they have competed as an Independent.
