''Two Fold Pt. 1'' is the fifth studio album by Lafayette-based electronic producer Martin Vogt, commonly known as his stage name, Haywyre. The album was released by Canadian record label Monstercat on 31 March 2014. Background and composition In December 2014, Vogt announced a North American tour entitled "Two Fold Tour" which planned to debut on 23 January 2015. When announcing the tour, Vogt stated:If there's one aspect of my music career that I really want to explore a bit more heavily, it's my live performances. Playing the keyboard is not just a vital part of my production, but also my sets; I think it's important to showcase that quality. Martin Sebastian Vogt (born August 8, 1992), better known by his stage name Haywyre, is an American electronic music producer, pianist, and performer. He is known for fusing elements of classical, jazz and funk into various genres of electronic music, as well as his unique style of piano improvisation within electronic music. In 2014, Vogt released a performance video showcasing his re-interpretation of Michael Jackson's " Smooth Criminal" which saw viral success on YouTube. Galimatias (born Matias Saabye Køedt) is a Danish electronic music artist from the small town of Fredericia, currently based in Los Angeles. He is best known for his 2015 EP '' Urban Flora'', with American singer-songwriter Alina Baraz. Career Galimatias began working with Alina Baraz after they were introduced to each other through SoundCloud in 2013, and their songs immediately received blog attention. Monstercat (formerly known as Monstercat Media) is a Canadian electronic music record label based in Vancouver, British Columbia.
