Richard Bartlett
Richard H. Bartlett (8 November 1922 – 11 June 1994), also known as Dick Bartlett, was an American director and producer in film and TV. He also acted and wrote. He is best known for his low budget features in the 1950s and his television work in the late 1950s and early 1960s. In 1956 he teamed up with Norman Jolley to form Bartlett-Jolley Productions. With Jolley writing, Bartlett directing and both men producing, they made eight movies for Universal-International within two years and worked on critically acclaimed segments of "Wagon Train" and later ''Cimarron City''. Robert Lowery (born Robert Lowery Hanks, October 17, 1913 – December 26, 1971) was an American motion picture, television, and stage actor who appeared in more than 70 films. Early life Born in Kansas City, Missouri, Lowery grew up on Wayne Avenue near the long-demolished Electric Park. Lowery's father was a local attorney and oil investor who worked several years for the Pullman Corporation as a railroad agent; his mother, Leah Thompson Hanks, was a concert pianist. Syndicated newspaper columnist Harrison Carroll reported that Lowery was "a direct descendant of Nancy Hanks" (Lincoln). Arvo Ojala
Arvo Oswald Ojala (February 21, 1920 – July 1, 2005) was a Hollywood technical advisor on the subject of quick-draw with a revolver. He also worked as an actor; his most famous role was that of the unnamed man shot by Marshal Matt Dillon in the opening sequences of the long-running television series ''Gunsmoke''. As a joke on the producers, James Arness and Arvo actually did the opener once with Dillon falling to the ground. Born to Finnish immigrant parents as a young man, Ojala taught himself marksmanship and how to quick-draw a handgun while living on his father's ranch near Yakima, Washington. He said he sharpened his marksmanship skill by shooting the heads off rattlesnakes. During the early 1950s, Ojala was living in Los Angeles, and working for the Hollywood film studios. Ian MacDonald (born Ulva Pippy, June 28, 1914 – April 11, 1978) was an American actor and producer during the 1940s and 1950s.
