Donald MacDonald (February 8, 1886 – August 6, 1972) was an American actor and director of the silent era. He appeared in more than 80 films between 1911 and 1934. He also directed 40 films between 1913 and 1917. He was born in California and died in Los Angeles, California. Harry von Meter (March 20, 1871 – June 2, 1956; sometimes credited Harry van Meter) was an American silent film actor. He starred in about 200 films in the period from 1912 through 1929. He retired from acting just as sound films were beginning. Born in Malta Bend, Missouri, von Meter was signed by the Thanhouser Company based in New Rochelle, New York in 1912, moving to American Film Studios a year or two later. He appeared in the 1923 film '' The Hunchback of Notre Dame'' as Monsignor Neufchatel. He died in Sawtelle, Los Angeles, California in 1956, at age 85. Eugenie Forde
Eugenie Forde (June 22, 1879 – September 5, 1940) was an American silent film actress. She starred in 73 films between 1912 and 1927 in films such as '' The Diamond from the Sky'' (1915) and '' Wives and Other Wives'' with actors such as Charlotte Burton and William Garwood. Forde retired from acting in 1924, but a trip to Europe spurred her to return to the profession. She found that her films were still being shown in Europe, and fans there encouraged her to resume her career. She returned to the screen in '' That's My Baby'' (1926). She was the mother of actress Victoria Forde. Helene M. Rosson (June 14, 1897 – May 5, 1985), also known as Hellene M. Rosson, was an American silent film actress. Biography Hellene M. Rosson, born June 14, 1897, was the sixth child and third daughter of jockey and horse trainer Arthur Richard Rosson (1857–1935) and Hellen Rochefort Rosson (1860–1933). Rosson entered film in 1915 and starred in 37 films over her ten-year career until 1925. She starred in films such as '' The Craving'' in 1916 with actors such as Charlotte Burton. She died in 1985, aged 87. She is interred at Woodlawn Cemetery in The Bronx, New York.
