Tristan Gemmill
Tristan John Gemmill (born 6 June 1967) is a British actor from London, most notable for his roles as Dr Adam Trueman in ''Casualty'' and Robert Preston in ''Coronation Street''. Early life and education Son of Brasenose College, Oxford-educated watercolour artist Andrew Gemmill, formerly employed by the BBC and in the recruitment business (son of the first-class cricketer William Gemmill), and Diana, daughter of Sir Robert Peter Burton-Chadwick, 2nd Bt, Gemmill was educated at Holmewood House School, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent, up to the age of 13. He then won an Academic Scholarship to Tonbridge School. Gemmill's paternal grandmother was from New Zealand. Peter Malcolm Gordon Moffett (born 13 April 1951), known professionally as Peter Davison, is an English actor. He made his television acting debut in 1975 and became famous in 1978 as Tristan Farnon in the BBC's television adaptation of James Herriot's ''All Creatures Great and Small (1978 TV series), All Creatures Great and Small'' stories.
