Trearddur Bay Football Club is a Welsh football team based in Trearddur, Anglesey, Wales. The club plays in the . As Trearddur Bay United they rose from the Anglesey League in 2008–09 to winning Division One of the Welsh Alliance League at the end of the 2015–16 season. Trearddur Bay United merged with Bryngwran Bulls in 2019 to create Trearddur Bay Bulls. History The club joined Saturday league football for 2008–09, and saw success in their first season, winning the North Wales Coast FA Junior Challenge Cup as well as the Anglesey League's Dargie Cup and Thomas & Williams Cup. The following season saw them obtain more cup success, retaining the Dargie Cup and winning the Elias Cup. Trearddur
Trearddur or Trearddur Bay ( cy, Bae Trearddur) is a village, seaside resort and community south of Holyhead on the west coast of Holy Island off the north-west coast of Anglesey in Wales. The community includes the small settlement of Penrhosfeilw and the Refail Farm estate. Name Historically the bay on which the village sits was known as Porth y Capel (Welsh: ''bay of the chapel'') and the nearby dunes as Towyn y Capel (''dune of the chapel''). The village name is recorded variously as Treffyarddr, Tre Iarthur and Trefarthur with Trearddur first recorded in 1749. All versions signify the ''settlement of Iarddur'', a key figure in the Middle Ages. Anglesey League
The Anglesey Football League was a football league in Anglesey, Wales, and was equivalent to the sixth level of the Welsh football league system in North Wales. The champions were promoted to the Gwynedd League. Cymru Alliance
The Cymru Alliance League (known for sponsorship reasons as Huws Gray Alliance) was a football league in north and central Wales which formed the second level of the Welsh football league system. From the 2019/20 season onwards, it was replaced by the Cymru North. If the team which finished top of the league held a Domestic Licence, it could apply for promotion to the Welsh Premier League and was replaced by one of the bottom two teams in the Welsh Premier League. If the league champions did not hold a Domestic Licence, then the team which finished second, if in possession of a Domestic Licence, could be promoted instead. Bryngwran Bulls F
Bryngwran is a village and community in Anglesey Wales, located on the A5 trunk road. It lies west of Llangefni, south west of Llannerch-y-medd and south east of Holyhead, and includes the villages of Bryngwran, Capel Gwyn and Engedi. At the 2001 census the community had a population of 781, increasing to 894 at the 2011 census. The village itself has a population of around 400. Saint Peulan's Church stands in an isolated position at Llanbeulan, in the south east of the community. A medieval building, it partly dates from the 12th century, but was extended in the 14th, and restored in the mid-19th century. The gritstone font dates from late 12th century. It is considered an example of a "rural medieval church retaining its simple character" and is Grade II* listed. The North Wales Coast West Football League is a football league in Wales, at tiers 4 and 5 of the Welsh football league system in North Wales, founded in 2020.
