Transformers Comic UK
Transformers Comic was a British comic book series based on the Transformers toyline and film series, published monthly by Titan Magazines from 2007 to 2014. It initially featured strips re-printed from American comics and graphic novels, but later included original comic strips. The first issue was published in July 2007 to tie-in with the release of the Transformers feature film. The comic went through five different volumes and title changes before the final issue was published in August 2014 after a run of seven years. Publication history Volume 1 ran for twenty-five issues before the second volume began in 2009 to tie-in with the theatrical release of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. In comics, an ongoing series is a series that runs indefinitely. This is in contrast to limited series (a series intended to end after a certain number of issues thus limited), a one shot (a comic book which is not a part of an ongoing series), a graphic novel, or a trade paperback, but a series of graphic novels may be considered ongoing as well. The term may also informally refer to a current or incomplete limited series with a predetermined number of issues.
