Tower Millennium Pier
Tower Pier is a pier on the River Thames, in Tower Hill, London, England and is located in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. It is operated by Uber Boat by Thames Clippers and served by various river transport and cruise operators. The pier is close to Tower Bridge and is situated in the immediately adjacent to the southwest corner of the Tower of London. Westminster Pier is a pier on the River Thames, in the City of Westminster in London, England. It is operated by Uber Boat by Thames Clippers and served by various river transport and cruise operators. It is located next to Westminster Bridge on the north bank of the Thames, and is close to one of London's most prominent landmarks, Big Ben. Former Westminster Floating Pier The former Westminster Floating Pier existed on the site through the 1950s, running along the Thames between Kew and the London docks. The floating pier acted as a landing point for many Royal water journeys, including the conclusion of Queen Elizabeth II's Commonwealth tour in May 1954. Royal National Lifeboat Institution
The Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) is the largest of the lifeboat (rescue), lifeboat services operating around the coasts of the United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, Ireland, the Channel Islands, and the Isle of Man, as well as on some inland waterways. Founded in 1824 as the National Institution for the Preservation of Life from Shipwreck, it soon afterwards became the Royal National Institution for the Preservation of Life from Shipwreck because of the patronage of King George IV. Tower Bridge Quay
Tower Bridge Quay (previously St. Katharine's Pier) is a river transport pier on the River Thames, in London, England. It is owned & operated by Woods River Cruises trading as Woods' Silver Fleet and served by various river transport and cruise operators. It is situated on the north bank of the Thames, on the east side of Tower Bridge, and immediately in front of the Thistle Tower Hotel. The pier is about ten minutes walk from Tower Hill tube station. Tower Gateway is a Docklands Light Railway (DLR) station in the City of London and is located near the Tower of London and Tower Bridge. It adjoins the tracks to Fenchurch Street railway station, Fenchurch Street station and is located on the site of a former station called Minories railway station, Minories. Tower Hill is a London Underground station in Tower Hill in the East End of London. It is served by the Circle and District lines, and is located in Travelcard Zone 1. Greenwich Pier is on the south bank of the River Thames in Greenwich, London. It was built in 1836 to cater for the many paddle steamers that brought visitors on day trips to Greenwich from London further up river. Barking Riverside Pier is an Uber Boat by Thames Clippers commuter service pier located on the River Thames at Barking Riverside. Passenger services began on 26 April 2022. The pier provides interchange with Barking Riverside railway station and local bus routes. The pier was brought into use following a renovation of the reinforced concrete coaling jetty previously used by Barking Power Station. History The existing structure was built in 1940 in order to bring coal to Barking Power Station. Earlier jetty structures were found at the site as early as 1864 and a coaling jetty was constructed with the power station in 1925.
