Tommy Meskill
Tommy Meskill (born 1993/1994) is an Irish journalist and newscaster employed by RTÉ, where he has been the London correspondent for RTÉ News since July 2024. He previously was a political reporter and has presented programmes on radio and television, including ''news2day'', ''Morning Ireland'' and '' This Week'', as well as the ''Six One'', '' Nine O'Clock'' and '' One O'Clock News''. Career Meskill completed a BA in Communications Studies from Dublin City University and interned with Clare FM during his studies. After graduating, he worked as a newsreader and reporter with Spirit Radio, East Coast FM, Dublin's Q102 and FM104. In 2015, he won best radio production of the year in news and current affairs in the National Student Media Awards. Ennis
Ennis ( , meaning 'island' or 'river meadow') is the county town of County Clare, in the mid-west of Ireland. The town lies on the River Fergus, north of where the river widens and enters the Shannon Estuary. Ennis is the largest town in County Clare, with a population of 27,923, making it the 6th largest town, and 11th largest urban settlement, as of the 2022 census. Dating from the 12th century the town's Irish name is short for , deriving from its location between two courses of the River Fergus. John Kilraine
John Kilraine (born 1959/1960) is an Irish journalist for RTÉ News, where he has been a reporter for '' Nationwide'' since 2024. He previously was the RTÉ London correspondent from April 2022 to May 2024 and Dublin correspondent from November 2011 to April 2022. Career Prior to his RTÉ career, Kilraine worked as a journalist for TV3, Dublin's 98FM, '' Sunday Independent'' and ''The Irish Press''. He joined RTÉ in July 2003 and reported extensively on the Mahon Tribunal. He also reported on the visit of President Michael D. Higgins to Peru, Colombia and Cuba in 2017 as a video journalist. RTÉ Radio 1 () is an Irish national radio station owned and operated by RTÉ and is the direct descendant of Dublin radio station 2RN, which began broadcasting on a regular basis on 1 January 1926. RTÉ2 (formerly branded as RTÉ 2 from 1978–88, Network 2 from 1988–97, N2 from 1997–2004 and RTÉ Two from 2004–14) is an Irish free-to-air television channel operated by public service broadcaster RTÉ.
