Tito Tuipulotu (born 8 June 2002) is a New Zealand rugby union player, who plays for and . His preferred position is prop. Early career Tuipulotu attended St Peter's College, Auckland where he captained the school team. He plays his club rugby for Ponsonby. He is the youngest of three professional rugby brothers, with eldest Patrick representing the All Blacks and Hamdahn playing at provincial level. Professional career Tuipulotu has represented in the National Provincial Championship since 2024, being named as a replacement player in the squad for the 2024 Bunnings NPC. St Peter's College, Auckland
St Peter's College () is a Catholic church, Catholic secondary school single-sex education, for boys in the Edmund Ignatius Rice, Edmund Rice tradition, and dedicated to St Peter. It is located in the Auckland CBD, central Auckland area of Grafton, New Zealand, Grafton, Auckland, New Zealand. With a roll of over 1300 it is one of the largest Catholic schools in New Zealand. Patrick Tito Tuipulotu (born 23 January 1993) is a New Zealand rugby union player who plays as a Lock for the Blues in Super Rugby and Auckland in the Bunnings NPC. Career Early career Tuipulotu was educated at St Peter's College in Auckland and made his debut for his local side in the 2013 ITM Cup, where he made seven appearances and scored one try. His impressive displays saw him named in the squad for the 2014 Super Rugby season. Tuipulotu competed for the New Zealand Under-20s at the 2013 IRB Junior World Championship where he made five appearances and scored one try. He was named in a preliminary training squad for the All Blacks on 12 May 2014. Tuipulotu was then selected for the All Blacks' squad for the first time on 1 June 2014. National Provincial Championship (2006–present)
The National Provincial Championship (NPC) is an annual, men's Round-robin tournament, round-robin rugby union competition organised by New Zealand Rugby. First played in National Provincial Championship (1976–2005), 1976, it is the second highest level of professional rugby in New Zealand. The Ranfurly Shield is also played for during the season. In 2021, Bunnings became the naming rights sponsor and the competition has been known as the Bunnings NPC since. 2024 Bunnings NPC
The 2024 Bunnings NPC season was the 19th season of New Zealand's provincial rugby union competition, the National Provincial Championship, since it turned professional in 2006. It involved the top 14 provincial rugby unions of New Zealand. For sponsorship reasons, the competition is known as the Bunnings NPC. The regular season began on 9 August 2024, when 2023 champions Taranaki hosted Counties Manukau. The final took place on 26 October 2024, and saw Wellington beat Bay of Plenty 23–20 after extra time.
