Tissy Bruns
Christiane "Tissy" Bruns (1 January 1951, Zeitz – 20 February 2013) was a German journalist. From 1999 to 2003, she was chairwoman of the Federal Press Conference, Association of the Federal Press Conference. Life At the age of six, she moved with her family from East Germany to West Germany. She completed a teaching degree for elementary and secondary schools with the subjects history and mathematics and during her studies in the 1970s was a member of the leadership of the Marxist Student Union Spartakus (MSB). From 1975 to 1977, she was a consultant to the board of the Verband Deutscher Studentenschaften, Vereinigte Deutsche Studentenschaften (VDS); after completing her legal clerkship, she was the first woman to be a member of the VDS board from 1979. After leaving the VDS, she worked for the Deutsche Kommunistische Partei, DKP party executive from 1981 and was a member of the Marxistischer Studentenbund Spartakus. She left the party in 1989. Stern (magazine)
''Stern'' (, German for "Star", stylized in all lowercase) is an illustrated, broadly left-liberal, weekly current affairs magazine published in Hamburg, Germany, by Gruner + Jahr, a subsidiary of Bertelsmann. Under the editorship (1948–1980) of its founder Henri Nannen, it attained a circulation of between 1.5 and 1.8 million, the largest in Europe's for a magazine of its kind. Unusually for a popular magazine in post-war West Germany, and most notably in the contributions to 1975 of Sebastian Haffner, ''Stern'' investigated the origin and nature of the preceding tragedies of German history. In 1983, however, its credibility was seriously damaged by its purchase and syndication of the forged Hitler Diaries. Hajo Schumacher
Hajo is a historic town set in the hills northwest of Guwahati, Assam, India. It is a meeting point of Buddhism, Buddhists, Hinduism, Hindus and Islam, Muslims due to the various pilgrimage sites on the different hills of Hajo.
