Howard Cunningham (Happy Days Character)
Howard C. Cunningham is a fictional character played by Tom Bosley on the 1970s sitcom ''Happy Days''. Actor Harold Gould played the character in the pilot, which aired as an episode of the anthology series ''Love, American Style''. He is the husband of Marion Cunningham, and the father of Chuck, Richie, and Joanie Cunningham. Originally, Gould was supposed to reprise his role on ''Happy Days'' as Howard Cunningham but wanted to commit to something else so Bosley was offered the part. Howard is one of only two characters, the other being Fonzie, to appear in all 255 episodes of ''Happy Days'' and to remain with the rest of the cast for all 11 seasons; of the two, Howard is the only one to have also appeared in the pilot. ''Laverne & Shirley'' is an American television sitcom that ran for eight seasons on American Broadcasting Company, ABC from January 27, 1976, to May 10, 1983. Eddie Mekka
Edward Rudolph Mekjian (June 14, 1952 – November 27, 2021), known professionally as Eddie Mekka, was an American actor, best known for his role as Carmine Ragusa on the hit television sitcom ''Laverne & Shirley''. Early life Mekka was born in Worcester, Massachusetts, the son of Mariam (née Apkarian), a dry cleaning presser, and Vahe Vaughn Mekjian, a factory worker. His family was of Armenian and Italian descent. His father was a World War II veteran. He graduated from Burncoat High School and attended the Berklee College of Music. Noriyuki "Pat" Morita (June 28, 1932 – November 24, 2005) was an American actor and comedian. He began his career as a stand-up comedian, before becoming known to television audiences for his recurring role as diner owner Matsuo "Arnold" Takahashi on the sitcom series ''Happy Days'' from 1975 to 1983. Ed Peck (March 26, 1917 – September 12, 1992) was an American actor. He is best known as Officer Kirk in ''Happy Days'' (1975–1983). Career Peck played a captain in the Broadway production of ''No Time for Sergeants'' (1955). He was active in television and in films from 1951 to 1983, specializing in playing either police officers or military officers. In 1951, Peck replaced Eric Fleming in the title role of ''Major Dell Conway of the Flying Tigers'' on the DuMont Television Network.
