Avinash Singh Rathore, better known by his codename Tiger, is a fictional Research and Analysis Wing (R&AW) agent appearing in the ''Tiger'' film series and other films of the YRF Spy Universe, an Indian cinematic universe. He is portrayed by Salman Khan. The character first appeared in ''Ek Tha Tiger'' (2012) and appeared in its sequels ''Tiger Zinda Hai'' (2017) and ''Tiger 3'' (2023). Tiger also made a brief appearance in ''Pathaan'' (2023), another film in the universe. Overview Tiger was born on 29 December 1968 in Chambal, Madhya Pradesh, India. ''YRF Spy Universe'' is an Indian shared universe centered on a series of spy action-thriller films, which feature various fictional RAW agents. It is produced and distributed by Yash Raj Films. Ravindra Kaushik
Ravindra Kaushik (11 April 1952 – November 2001) was a Research and Analysis Wing (R&AW) operative, also named as Black Tiger, who is believed to be one of India's best spies. Kaushik served the R&AW from 1979 to 1983 in Pakistan. He was able to penetrate the Pakistan Army and was recruited as an officer of them. Early life Ravindra Kaushik was born in Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan on 11 April 1952 in a Brahmin family.
