Ti2bs
Maka Agu, (born 12 January 1982), better known by his stage name Ti2bs or Mr Ti2bs, is an English rapper. He released his first mixtape ''North Stars Rising'' in 2002; and his first album, ''Nobody's Perfect'', in 2007 on Kemet Entertainment Records. Career history Early career Ti2bs started his professional career in 2001 as a member of the seminal British Hip Hop group ''The One Crew'' with Sway (British musician), Sway (rapper), Al Shux, Bigz and Pyrelli. ''The One Crew'' released their debut album, called ''Onederful World'' which was subsequently nominated by the MOBO committee for the "MOBO Unsung" award. This resulted in the group reaching the final five of the competition. They did not win, however, DJ Tim Westwood of BBC Radio 1 and DJ Semtex of BBC Radio 1Xtra began giving them airplay as a result of the exposure. Skinnyman
Skinnyman (born Alexander Graham Holland, 9 November 1974) is a British rapper who was born in Chapeltown Leeds, Yorkshire and moved to Finsbury Park, London at a young age. He grew up on the Six Acres Estate next to Andover Estate. Among his friends was fellow Leeds-born, London-raised Cornwall DJ Pat Mckay. He formed the Mud Family with Mongo and Chester P, a group which released a number of EPs. These included such records as "Itchy Town" and "Lash Suttin", a reworking of Redman's "Smash Something". Later Supar Novar, Mr. Ti2bs, Uncle Festa and more joined the group. Skinnyman released a solo album, '' Council Estate of Mind'' in 2004. He appeared in the first episode of '' Tower Block Dreams'', a 2004 documentary series on BBC Three which looked into the underground music scene in council estates. British hip hop, also known as UK hip hop or UK rap, is a genre of music, and a culture that covers a variety of styles of hip hop music made in the United Kingdom. It is generally classified as one of a number of styles of R&B/Hip-Hop. Joey Coombes (born 21 June 1976), better known as Chester P, is a rapper in the UK hip-hop scene. He was a founding member of Task Force, Bury Crew and the M.U.D. Family. He and his brother Farma G are both sons of the late musician Peet Coombes. Chester P Hackenbush has a noted style of 'psychedelic' poetry and has a writing style that has fathered many influences since 1993. One of the pioneering UK hip hop artists to have moulded the scene to what it is today. Chester P's name was taken from ''The Chester P. DJ Semtex (born John Fairbanks; 1974) is an English DJ, author, radio DJ and presenter of Spotify's Who We Be podcast. Between 2002 and 2018, he was presenter for BBC Radio 1Xtra's weekly hip-hop show. Biography Due to complications from lymphangioma at the age of 16, DJ Semtex had an arm amputated. He did not confirm this until his 2016 autobiography and previously refused to answer questions on the subject. He began his career by promoting parties in Manchester while playing at the city's music venues such as The Haçienda. In 2002, DJ Semtex began hosting a Friday night show (21:00 to 23:00) on BBC Radio 1Xtra.
