Thor Halvorsen
Thorleif Halvorsen (born 9 May 1988 in Cape Town, South Africa) is a South African rugby union player for Rovigo Delta in the Top12 in Italy. He usually plays as a loose forward. Rugby career Boland Cavaliers Halvorsen played for the Wellington-based at youth level, representing them in the Under-19 Provincial Championships in 2006 and 2007 and in the Under-21 Provincial Championships in 2008 and 2009. In 2010, he was included in their senior squad for the first time for their 2010 Currie Cup First Division campaign. He made his first class debut on 6 August 2010 in their Round Four match against the , starting in a 36–45 defeat in George. He made a further two starts and three appearances as a replacement during the remainder of the campaign, helping Boland to finish in third position on the log to qualify for the title play-offs. The 2016 Currie Cup qualification series was a South African rugby union competition organised by the South African Rugby Union which was played between 9 April and 23 July 2016. Amatori Catania Rugby is an Italian rugby union club based in Catania. They are the only professional rugby union team in Sicily. 2013–14 European Challenge Cup Pool Stage
The 2013–14 Amlin Challenge Cup pool stage will be the opening stage of the 18th season of the European Challenge Cup, the second-tier competition for European rugby union clubs. The opening round of matches will be on 10–13 October 2013 and the closing round on 16–19 January 2014. Twenty teams will participate in this phase of the competition; they are divided into five pools of four teams each, with each team playing the others home and away. Competition points are earned using the standard rugby union bonus points system, bonus point system. The 2013–14 Amlin Challenge Cup was the 18th and final season of the European Challenge Cup, Europe's second tier club rugby union competition. A total of 23 teams participated: 20 in the pool stage, plus three teams parachuting into the knockout stages from the Heineken Cup. The original 20 teams represented six countries.
