Glen Drover
Glen Drover (born May 25, 1969) is a Canadian heavy metal guitarist from Ottawa, Ontario. He is best known as the former lead guitarist of Megadeth and King Diamond, along with his brother Shawn Drover who also performed with Megadeth. History Glen Drover began playing guitar as a child, and was joined at age 10 by his brother Shawn on drums. The Drover brothers formed the band Eidolon in 1993, releasing seven albums to date. Kim Mitchell
Joseph Kim Mitchell (born July 10, 1952) is a Canadian rock musician. He was the lead singer and guitarist for the band Max Webster before going on to a solo career. His 1984 single, " Go for Soda", was his only charted song on the US ''Billboard'' Hot 100, reaching number 86. Several other singles such as " Patio Lanterns", "Rock and Roll Duty", and "Rockland Wonderland", reached the top 20 in Canada. Early life Mitchell attended St. Clair Secondary School in Sarnia. During the 1970s, Mitchell began playing with local bands in Sarnia. After going through a few name changes with essentially the same band, Mitchell and "Zooom" headed for Toronto, Ontario. Frank Aresti is an American guitarist and composer and former member of progressive metal band Fates Warning. Background Aresti was in a metal band called Demonax before joining Fates Warning. His first appearance was during the tour of 1985, promoting the album ''The Spectre Within''. The following year, he became an official member of the band. He co-wrote "Giant's Lore (Heart of Winter)" along with John Arch. During the following albums, Aresti wrote lyrics to various songs on Fates Warning's albums. On the '' No Exit'' album, he was the primary lyricist for three songs: "Anarchy Divine", "In a Word" and "Shades of Heavenly Death". Christopher Caffery (born September 9, 1967) is an American musician, best known for his work as a member of Savatage and the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Recently, Chris has been pursuing a solo career, releasing four albums since 2004. Michael James Romeo (born March 6, 1968) is an American guitarist and a founding member of the progressive metal group Symphony X. Shawn Drover
Shawn Drover (born May 5, 1966) is a Canadian drummer, best known for his work with the American heavy metal band Megadeth. He began playing the drums at the age of 13. In 1993 he founded the power metal band Eidolon with his brother Glen. He uses Sabian cymbals and Yamaha drums, Pro-mark drum sticks, Toca Percussion, Evans Drumheads and Extreme Isolation headphones. After ten years in Megadeth, Drover along with guitarist Chris Broderick announced their departures from the band in November 2014. Power Metal
Power metal is a subgenre of heavy metal combining characteristics of traditional heavy metal with speed metal, often within symphonic context. Mercyful Fate
Mercyful Fate is a Danish heavy metal band from Copenhagen, formed in 1981 by vocalist King Diamond and guitarist Hank Shermann. Kim Bendix Petersen (born 14 June 1956), better known by his stage name King Diamond, is a Danish rock musician. As a vocalist, he is known for his powerful and wide-ranging countertenor singing voice, in particular his far-reaching falsetto screams.
