The Nest (TV Network)
The Nest is an American digital broadcast television network owned by the Sinclair Broadcast Group. The network features a variety of reality, true crime, and celebrity TV shows licensed from A&E Networks. History On October 10, 2023, Sinclair announced that they had plans to launch a new over-the-air television network called The Nest on October 30. Sinclair's distribution of The Nest would replace that of Stadium on TV stations across the U.S. after they sold control of the network to Jerry Reinsdorf's Silver Chalice in May of the same year. At launch, the network was available in more than 50% of U.S. over-the-air television households, including the major markets. On February 20, 2024, Sinclair announced that Tegna agreed to carry the network to 35 stations across the country. KTTU-TV (channel 18) is a television station in Tucson, Arizona, United States, affiliated with The CW and MyNetworkTV. It is owned by Tegna Inc. alongside Fox affiliate KMSB (channel 11); Tegna maintains a shared services agreement (SSA) with Gray Media, owner of CBS affiliate KOLD-TV (channel 13), for the provision of studio space and technical services while maintaining control of programming and sales. KPNX (channel 12) is a television station licensed to Mesa, Arizona, United States, serving the Phoenix area as an affiliate of NBC. The station is owned by Tegna Inc., and maintains studios at the Republic Media building on Van Buren Street in downtown Phoenix (which also houses formerly co-owned newspaper ''The Arizona Republic''); its transmitter is located atop South Mountain on the city's south side. WZDX (channel 54) is a television station in Huntsville, Alabama, United States, affiliated with Fox and MyNetworkTV. Owned by Tegna Inc., the station maintains studios on North Memorial Parkway ( US 72/ 231/ 431) in Huntsville, and its transmitter is located on Monte Sano Mountain.
