The Martian Manhunter
The Martian Manhunter (J'onn J'onzz) is a superhero in American comic books published by DC Comics. Created by writer Joseph Samachson and artist Joe Certa, the character first appeared in the story "The Manhunter from Mars" in ''Detective Comics'' #225 (November 1955). Martian Manhunter is one of the seven original members of the Justice League of America and one of the most powerful beings in the DC Universe. He has also been featured in other DC Comics products, such as video games, television series, animated films, and merchandise like action figures. In live action, the character first appeared in the television pilot ''Justice League of America'', played by David Ogden Stiers. ''Secret Origins'' is the title of several comic book series published by DC Comics which featured the origin stories of the publisher's various characters. Publication history ''Secret Origins'' was first published as a one-shot in 1961 and contained only reprinted material. The title became an ongoing reprint series in February–March 1973 which ran for seven issues and ended in October–November 1974. Vixen (Mari Jiwe McCabe) is a superhero created by Gerry Conway and Bob Oksner. She first appeared in ''Action Comics'' #521 (July 1981), published by DC Comics. Through the Tantu Totem, which allows her to harness the spirit (''Aṣẹ, ashe'') of any animal, past or present, and use its abilities. Two versions of the character appeared in The CW's Arrowverse. An action figure is a poseable character model figure made most commonly of plastic, and often based upon characters from a film, comic book, military, video game, television program, or sport; fictional or historical.
