The Lab (film)
''The Lab'' is a 2013 documentary film by Yotam Feldman about the Israeli military industry. At the 2013 Tel Aviv International Documentary Film Festival it won the award for best debut film. It was also shown at the German documentary film festival DOK Leipzig, the Antenna Film Festival in Sydney, and the Visions du Réel festival in Nyon, Switzerland. It is an Israeli, Belgian, French coproduction of Gum films, directed by Yotam Feldman. It is 60 minutes long and was shot in Hebrew and has English subtitles. Tel Aviv International Documentary Film Festival
Docaviv, subtitled "the Tel Aviv International Documentary Film Festival" is the only film festival in Israel dedicated to documentary films, and the largest film festival in Tel Aviv. It is run by a non-profit organisation of the same name, founded in 1998. In recent years (to 2021) the festival has drawn an attendance of around 40,000. DOK Leipzig
DOK Leipzig is a documentary film festival that takes place every year in Leipzig, Germany. It is an international film festival for documentary and animated film founded in 1955 under the name "1st All-German Leipzig Festival of Cultural and Documentary Films" and was the first independent film festival in East Germany. In 1995 a separate competition for animated films was added and in 2004 a film industry program, DOK Industry, was initiated to allow a networking and contact platform for industry professionals. Shortly after German reunification attendance figures dropped, with just 5,500 people coming in 1993; however, they quickly picked up and in 2008 the festival had more than 27,000 attendees. Visions Du Réel
Visions du Réel (Visions of Reality) is an internationally renowned documentary film festival held in April each year in Nyon, Switzerland. Established in 1969 as the Nyon International Documentary Film Festival, the event adopted its current name in 1995 and is the largest Swiss documentary festival. At its inception, the festival promoted Swiss films and films that were otherwise inaccessible — that is, those created in the Eastern Bloc countries behind the Iron Curtain. Now open to worldwide entries, the week-long festival has been directed by film critic Jean Perret since 1995.
