''The Evolution of Man'' is the fourth studio album by English musician Example, released on 19 November 2012 through Ministry of Sound. Background and development Example tweeted that on the plane to Sydney, he planned on writing some songs for a new album and he would be listening to Kasabian's album Velociraptor! for lyrical inspiration. Whilst in Australia for 2 months, the singer planned to write the entire album in the time he spent there. On 25 July 2012 Example announced via Twitter that the name of the lead single from his fourth album was " Say Nothing" – produced by Dirty South, also revealing it would premiere Monday 30 July 2012 on Capital FM. The track, alongside "Perfect Replacement" (produced by Feed Me), received its live debut on 18–19 August 2012 at the V Festival. Elliot John Gleave, better known by his stage name Example, is an English musician, singer, songwriter and record producer. He released his debut studio album, '' What We Made'', in 2007, followed by the mixtape '' What We Almost Made'' in 2008. Example first found success in 2010 with the release of his second studio album, '' Won't Go Quietly'', which peaked at number four on the UK Albums Chart and number one on the UK Dance Chart. The album had two top 10 singles, " Won't Go Quietly" and " Kickstarts". ''Playing in the Shadows'' is the third studio album by British recording artist Example, released on 4 September 2011 through Ministry of Sound. Example confirmed that much like the previous album, there would be no collaborations, besides that of producers (including frequent collaborator Skream). During an interview, Example said the album remains dance oriented, although he would make a gradual move into electronic and dubstep genres. The album's release was preceded by two singles, "Changed the Way You Kiss Me" and " Stay Awake", which both peaked atop of the UK Singles Chart. A third single, Laidback Luke collaboration "Natural Disaster", has been released on 16 October. A fourth single, "Midnight Run" was released on 4 December. Paris Joel Moore-Williams (born 8 April 1989), better known by his stage name P Money, is a British grime MC, rapper and songwriter from New Cross, South East London, who is also active in the drum and bass scene. Sway (British Musician)
Derek Andrew Safo (born 5 September 1982), better known by his stage name Sway or Sway DaSafo, is a British rapper of Ghanaian descent. He is also a producer, having established Dcypha Productions, signed to Island/Universal (label founder). Safo's 2008 track "Black Stars" gave appreciation to popular Ghanaians across the diaspora. ''Won't Go Quietly'' is the second studio album from British recording artist Example. It was released as a digital download on 20 June 2010, with the physical release the following day. Noted producers that helped with the album include Calvin Harris, Sub Focus and Chase & Status. As of December 2012, the album has sold 265,000 copies in the UK. Critical reception ''Won't Go Quietly'' received generally positive reviews up on its release. Robert Copsey of Digital Spy gave a positive review stating that "Won't Go Quietly is an entertaining and relentlessly catchy collection from an artist who could, on first glance, be accused of shamelessly following the latest chart trends". V Festival
V Festival, often referred to as V Fest or simply V, was an annual music festival held in the United Kingdom during the third weekend in August. The event was held at two parks simultaneously which shared the same bill; artists performed at one location on Saturday and then swapped on Sunday. The sites were located at Hylands Park in Chelmsford and Weston Park in South Staffordshire. In 2017, the final year of this format, the capacity of each site was 90,000. Richard Branson announced on 30 October 2017 that V Festival would be discontinued but that a new festival would replace it. In 2018, a new festival called "Rize" was held in on the same weekend as the "V Festival" but only at Hylands Park. ''Velociraptor!'' is the fourth studio album by English rock music, rock band Kasabian, released on 16 September 2011. The album has been described as expanding upon the neo-psychedelic feel of their previous album ''West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum'' with a stronger emphasis on experimental song structures and instrumentation. Kasabian
Kasabian ( ) are an English rock band formed in Leicester in 1997 by lead vocalist Tom Meighan, guitarist and second vocalist Sergio Pizzorno, guitarist Chris Karloff and bassist Chris Edwards. Drummer Ian Matthews joined in 2004. Karloff left the band in 2006 and founded a new band called Black Onassis. Jay Mehler joined as touring lead guitarist in 2006, leaving for Liam Gallagher's Beady Eye in 2013, to be replaced by Tim Carter, who later became a full-time band member in 2021. Meighan left the band in July 2020, with Pizzorno stepping up as full-time lead vocalist. In 2010 and 2014, Kasabian won the Q Awards for Best Act in the World Today. "Perfect Replacement" is a song by British recording artist Example. It was released as the third single from his fourth studio album, ''The Evolution of Man'', on 24 February 2013 following his UK arena tour. The song was written by Elliot Gleave and Feed Me, the latter who also produced the song. Background and release "Perfect Replacement" received its live debut in August 2012 at the V Festival, and was played on 17 September 2012 at the iTunes Festival. The track received its radio debut on Greg James' BBC Radio 1 show on 15 November 2012, where Gleave announced it was to be released as a single.
