TNT (Norwegian Band)
TNT is a Norwegian hard rock band from Trondheim, formed in 1982. The band has released fourteen studio albums, three EPs and four live albums while going through numerous lineup changes since its formation. Guitarist Ronni Le Tekrø is the only consistent member of the band. TNT has sold between 4–5 million albums worldwide as of 2016. History 1980s and 1990s TNT was formed in the Norwegian city of Trondheim in 1982, by vocalist and rhythm guitarist Dag Ingebrigtsen, guitarist Ronni Le Tekrø, bassist Steinar Eikum and drummer Diesel Dahl. ''Tell No Tales'' is the third studio album by the Norwegian rock band TNT. It was the best-selling TNT album in the U.S., according to their bass guitarist Morty Black. A music download is the digital transfer of music via the Internet into a device capable of decoding and playing it, such as a personal computer, portable media player, MP3 player or smartphone. ''A Farewell to Arms'' (titled ''Engine'' in the US and Scandinavia) is the twelfth studio album by the Norwegian rock band TNT, released in December 2010. The album is in stark contrast to the previous two TNT albums, being a very 1980s-melodic rock-oriented album. Reception Pre-release press has given the album high praise. ''All the Way to the Sun'' is the ninth studio album by the Norwegian rock band TNT, first released on 21 October 2005. The album was first rumoured to be on the heavier side of TNT but came out in the end as a more straight-forward pop rock album. The album received generally positive reviews, but not as many as their previous album, '' My Religion''. It also sold less than the previous album. The band toured Norway to support the release, as well as shows in Sweden, the UK, and in Spain, where they recorded what became '' Live in Madrid''. My Religion (album)
''My Religion'' is the eighth studio album by the Norwegian rock band TNT, released on 8 March 2004. It marked a return to the glam metal direction that ended with ''Realized Fantasies''. It was said to be a "breath of fresh air" by most fans and received excellent reviews worldwide when it was released. It is regarded by a large part of TNT's fanbase to be their best album ever, including more known albums such as Tell No Tales and Intuition. Sid Ringsby joined the band to finish the rest of the touring for ''My Religion'' and to record the follow-up album, ''All The Way to the Sun''. Transistor (TNT Album)
''Transistor'' is the seventh studio album by the Norwegian rock band TNT. While it kept the alternative feel of ''Firefly'', it was more successful, with the song "Just Like God" receiving some airplay at US College radio stations. Reception The album was met with mixed reviews amongst fans and reviewers alike. It was given max score in Oppland Arbeiderblad while bigger tabloid newspapers in Norway give it a 4 out of 6. Amongst fans, some didn't like the new experimental side of TNT, while the others enjoyed it. In retrospect, it's now considered a crucial moment in the band's history, showcasing the band's experimentation with different styles. Firefly (TNT Album)
''Firefly'' is the sixth studio album by the Norwegian rock band TNT (Norwegian band), TNT, released in 1997. The album was a comeback for TNT, who split up in 1992 after the release of ''Realized Fantasies''. It also marked a significant change in TNT's sound; the music is heavier and more modern, reflecting the changes in the music industry in the first half of the 1990s. It is also Tony Harnell's favorite album. When singer Tony Mills (singer), Tony Mills joined in 2007, he was told by Le Tekrø to not even bother listening to it as they wouldn't play anything from the album live.
