The Ascendicate, originally known as The 7 Method is a Christian metal band from High Point, North Carolina. The band formed in 1999, but went on hiatus in 2012. The band put out tracks of one of their albums, which fell into the hands of Jimmy Ryan (Haste the Day, Trenches) and Ryan Clark ( Demon Hunter, Training for Utopia), and the band signed to Solid State Records. Solid is a state of matter where molecules are closely packed and can not slide past each other. Pillar is an American Christian rock band from Tulsa, consisting of members Rob Beckley, Noah Henson, Michael "Kalel" Wittig, and Lester Estelle II. The band has released nine studio albums, three EPs, and 24 singles since its formation in 1998. Project 86 is an American rock band from Orange County, California, formed in 1996. The band has released twelve albums, which have collectively sold nearly 500,000 units worldwide, two EPs, two DVDs, and one live album. In 1998, BEC Recordings released a Project 86 (album), self-titled debut album that was well received by critics and consumers. Their second release, ''Drawing Black Lines'', garnered attention from mainstream record labels; Atlantic Records, Atlantic licensed the album from Tooth & Nail Records, the parent company of BEC. Disciple is an American Christian metal band from Knoxville, Tennessee, formed in 1992. The group has released 13 studio albums, 3 extended plays, 1 live extended play, and 1 compilation album. History Early releases (1992–1998) Disciple was formed in December 1992 by Knoxville high school friends Kevin Young, Brad Noah, Adrian DiTommasi and Tim Barrett. The band played its first show in May 1993 at Topside Church of God in Louisville, Tennessee, and recorded its first three-song demo at Nightsong Studios with producer Jesse Jones. Alien Ant Farm is an American rock band that formed in Riverside, California in 1996. They have released six studio albums and sold over 5 million units worldwide. The band's cover of Michael Jackson's " Smooth Criminal" topped the ''Billboard'' Alternative songs charts in 2001, and was featured in the film '' American Pie 2''.
