The Amity Affliction is an Australian post-hardcore band from Gympie, Queensland, formed in 2003. The band's current line-up consists of Joel Birch (lead vocals), Dan Brown (guitar), Jonathan Reeves (bass, vocals) and Joe Longobardi (drums). Break Even was an Australian hardcore punk band from Perth, which formed in 2005. For most of the band's run, the band was composed of Perri Basile on bass guitar, Mark Bawden on lead vocals, Simon Dreja on drums and Steffen Sciuto on guitar. Their debut album, ''The Bright Side'', was released in June 2009 and was dedicated to the band's original guitarist Rowan Willoughby, who died in November 2008. Misery Signals was an American-Canadian metalcore band formed in Wisconsin in 2002. History Formation (2002–2003) Misery Signals was formed after the disbanding of several bands, including 7 Angels 7 Plagues, Hamartia, and Compromise. Having played briefly with 7 Angels 7 Plagues, former Compromise vocalist, Jesse Zaraska, was approached by Ryan Morgan and Kyle Johnson for a new project which would become Misery Signals. Jeff Aust from Hamartia joined on as second guitar and Ryan Morgan's brother Branden joined as the band's drummer. Aust soon left the band and has since gone on to join With Honor. I Killed the Prom Queen is an Australian metalcore band from Adelaide, formed in 2001. They were prominent in the Australian live music scene and toured the US, Japan and Europe several times. They issued three studio albums: '' When Goodbye Means Forever...'' (2003), '' Music for the Recently Deceased'' (2006) and '' Beloved'' (2014). The latter two albums peaked at #27 and #6 on the ARIA Albums Chart respectively. The band initially split up in April 2007 due to the inability to find a permanent vocalist. Michael Crafter is an Australian singer, songwriter and entertainment manager. His music career began as lead vocalist for I Killed the Prom Queen. Crafter is the vocalist of Confession, and formerly fronted Carpathian and Bury Your Dead. He also founded the Mistake clothing label, tattoo shops and a printing business. Biography Crafter is a vocalist and music manager in the Australian metalcore scene and lives a straight edge lifestyle.
