Terrance Gore
Terrance Jamar Gore (born June 8, 1991) is an American former professional baseball outfielder. He played college baseball at Gulf Coast Community College. He made his MLB debut in 2014 with the Kansas City Royals and also played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Chicago Cubs, Los Angeles Dodgers, Atlanta Braves and New York Mets. Gore was regarded as one of the fastest players in baseball and was mainly used as a pinch runner. Gore was frequently added to expanded rosters on contending teams late in the season and was on the postseason roster of a championship team three times - the Royals in 2015, the Dodgers in 2020, and the Braves in 2021. An outfielder is a person playing in one of the three defensive positions in baseball or softball, farthest from the batter. In baseball or softball, a pinch runner is a player substituted into a game for the purpose of base running. George Charles Scott Jr. (March 23, 1944 – July 28, 2013), nicknamed "Boomer", was an American professional baseball player, coach and manager. He played in Major League Baseball as a first baseman from to , most prominently for the Boston Red Sox where he was a member of the American League pennant winning team and, with the Milwaukee Brewers where he was the American League home run and RBI champion. The Omaha Storm Chasers are a Minor League Baseball team of the International League and the Triple-A (baseball), Triple-A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals. Mike Sweeney
Michael John Sweeney (born July 22, 1973) is an American former Major League Baseball designated hitter and first baseman. Sweeney played his first 13 seasons in the majors with the Kansas City Royals, first as a catcher, then at first base and designated hitter. Gerald Alphonse "Jay" Witasick Jr. (; born August 28, 1972) is an American former professional baseball pitcher. He pitched all or parts of 12 seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB) from 1996 to 2007, primarily as a relief pitcher. High school and college Witasick attended C.
