Tempo Perdido (Legião Urbana Song)
"Tempo Perdido" ( Portuguese for "Wasted time") is a single by the Brazilian rock band Legião Urbana, Written by the vocalist Renato Russo, it was original released as the second promo single of the 1986 album Dois in July of the same year, is the most played song of the band according to the Escritório Central de Arrecadação e Distribuição (ECAD). The last verse of this song, "Somos tão jovens" (We're so young), inspired the title of Russo's biopic of the same name. Background The track started as a composition called Gente Obsoleta, a composition that Renato Russo wrote when he was in the band Aborto Elétrico. In some moments of 1983 or 1984, Renato Russa wrote a song called 1977 which contained verses that was later reused in the song Tempo Perdido. Legião Urbana
Legião Urbana (Portuguese for Urban Legion) was a Brazilian rock band formed in 1982 in Brasília, Federal District (Brazil), Distrito Federal. The band primarily consisted of Renato Russo (vocals, guitar, bass, keyboards), Dado Villa-Lobos (guitar), Renato Rocha (bassist), Renato Rocha (bass), and Marcelo Bonfá (drums, keyboards). Rocha left the band in 1989, and the band continued as a trio until their disbandment, with Russo becoming the band's ''de facto'' bassist after Rocha's departure. Following Rocha's death in 2015, Villa-Lobos and Bonfá are the last surviving members of the band's principal lineup. Novabrasil FM
Novabrasil is a Brazilian radio network based in the city of São Paulo, with affiliates in the Southeast, Northeast and Midwest regions of Brazil. The ''Billboard'' Brasil Hot 100 is a record chart in Brazil for songs, published weekly by ''Billboard Brasil'' magazine. First launched in October 2009, the chart was initially published monthly and measured the airplay of songs on radio stations in Brazil across all music genres, compiled by Crowley Broadcast Analysis, and was named Brasil Hot 100 Airplay. The first number-one song on the chart was "Halo" by Beyoncé. Starting from 2014, it was published weekly. Marcelo Bonfá
Marcelo Augusto Bonfá (born 30 January 1965), also known simply as Bonfá, is a Brazilian drummer who was previously a member of the rock band Legião Urbana. After its disbanding, he pursued a solo career, and has released three albums. Biography Bonfá was born in the city of Itapira in the state of São Paulo on 30 January 1965. His father was an employee of the Banco do Brasil, and in 1977, Bonfá's family moved to Brasília. Bonfá played for the bands Blitz 64 and Dado e o Reino Animal (where he would meet future Legião Urbana member Dado Villa-Lobos) before forming Legião Urbana alongside Renato Russo in 1982. He stayed with Legião until its disestablishment in 1996. In 2000, Bonfá released his first solo album, named ''O Barco Além do Sol'' (''The Boat Beyond the Sun'').
