Tateyama Station (Chiba)
is a passenger railway station in the city of Tateyama, Chiba Prefecture, Japan, operated by the East Japan Railway Company (JR East). Lines Tateyama Station is served by the Uchibō Line, and is located 85.9 km from the terminus of the line at Soga Station. Station layout The station consists of one side platform and one island platforms serving three tracks. The station has a ''Midori no Madoguchi'' staffed ticket office. Platforms History The station opened on May 24, 1919, as on what was then called the Hōjō Line. The Hōjō Line was merged with the Bōsō Line in 1927. The station was renamed to its current name on March 1, 1946. Scheduled freight operations were suspended from November 15, 1982. The station was absorbed into the JR East network upon the privatization of the Japanese National Railways (JNR) on April 1, 1987. A new station building was completed in March 1999. Awa-Shirahama Bus Terminal
is a bus terminal at Minamibōsō in Japan. The bus terminal is used by JR Bus and Nitto Kotsu. History In 2017, a new building was opened. The bus terminal is situated near Nojimazaki Lighthouse and Shirahama Onsen. Two routes connect Tateyama Station (Chiba), Tateyama Station and Tokyo Station) operated by JR Bus Kanto; four routes bound that connect Awa-Kamogawa Station or Chiba Station and operated by Nitto Kotsu. Chiba-Chūō Station
is a railway station operated by the Keisei Electric Railway located in Chūō-ku, Chiba Japan. It is from the terminus of the Keisei Chiba Line at Keisei-Tsudanuma Station and is a terminal station for the Keisei Chihara Line. History Chiba-Chūō Station was opened on July 17, 1921 as . This was renamed on 18 November 1931. The station burned down during the Chiba Air Raid of July 6, 1945. Tōkyō Station (, ) is a major railway station in Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan. An island platform (also center platform (American English) or centre platform (British English)) is a station layout arrangement where a single platform is positioned between two tracks within a railway station, tram stop or transitway interchange. Island platforms are sometimes used between the opposite-direction tracks on twin-track route stations as they are cheaper and occupy less area than other arrangements.
